I am looking for a Rex Rabbit(Buck) to add to my does since I have 2 of them that are currently 3 months old and I would like to breed them this spring. My does are beautiful Broken Black and White colored and would prefer a male of the same color pattern as they are but not necessarily the same color. He can be Broken Black & White or A Broken Brown & White color, he should compliment the does color and add good genetic traits, be in excellent health. I live in Kalkaska,Michigan so I am looking for a Rex Rabbit Breeder near where I live so the buck will not have to be transported very far and to prevent him from getting over stressed. I feel this is more important to a rabbits overall health and would hate to keep him in a transport cage more than 30 minutes. He will be given rabbit pellets mixed with rolled oats,a slice of apple daily,fresh grass when available, some carrot but not a whole lot so he doesn't get sick, and a small amount of broccoli, he will bre given some fresh kale when it is available as well.

I took my 11 week old kitten into the vet for a FELV test and it came back negative. Now after some serious research online I found an article by Drs. Foster & Smith about feline distemper. My kitten has all of the symptoms of the dangerous disease except for seizures. She is recovering very slowly since she has made it past the critical 2-3 day period of the virus attacking her immune system after being vaccinated for the first time on September 29th. Ginger is being spoon fed bland foods such as baby food and is given pedialite for all of the electrolites that her body so desperately needs because she became very dehydrated from vomiting alot of body fluids on an empty stomach. The vet gave her an anti-nausea injection and now she is keeping fluids down and digesting solids as well.

I took my kitten in for her very first vaccine on September 29th and 24 hours later she ends up extremely sick with runny stools occasional vomiting and the vets refuse to see her. 1 week after her vaccine they finally agree to see her and prescribe probiotic to sprinkle in her canned diet of I/D but it is doing no good. It stinks really bad when she uses the litterbox and I have her seperated from my adult cat. Now this late evening she refuse food of any kind whether it is moistened kitten chow,canned food, or regular baby food. Tomorrow I am thinking of telling them to euthanise her to end her suffering since she is nothing but skin & bones, but she is so very loving through it all. I love Ginger very much and do not want to see her suffer she is only 11 weeks old and they wanted to do leukemia testing on her for another $70.00 that I do not have but then they changed their minds and said to continue her medicine. All of the vet visits have cost me $70.00 for nothing except to let her waste away. No rude comments please I am upset enough already thansks

I am looking for a healthy 3-4 month old male seal point siamese kitten that will go to a loving family with two other felines.

This is a question for adults 18 years of age and over. I need serious adults suggestions or ideas on how I can go about raising $600. to help save the lives of two Yorkshire Terrier puppies that the owner can not keep where they live. I have to come up with the above said amount of money in order to have the puppies shipped to me because the climate that the family is living in is way to harsh for the male and female puppy. The puppies have been vaccinated and are in good health, I will receive all of the vet paper work and AKC registration papers upon arrival of my new puppies. The gentleman that has been in touch with me has said that he and his family travel way to much and they must part with their beloved babies. So please help me out with this, I have only until April 1st to raise that much money and I am only on SSI Disability and am unable to become employed with a regular job do health reasons.

This is just some kind advice for all cat and dog owners. If your dog or cat starts having diarehea and it doesn't clear up within a couple of days and then your pet starts vomiting take a fecal sample for each pet you have in your household and have them tested for internal parasites. there is some contaminated ground water going around that has made my 6 1/2 month old kitten sick and now she is on Metronidazole to kill Giardia for the next 5 days. The pill wil be cut up into 1/4's to administer to a smaller pet such as a kitten. You will need to empty every water dish out and wash them with hot water and antibacterial dish soap, make sure you rinse their water dishes really well with hot water and give them some fresh water.

My adult cat started getting violently sick 3-3-08, she threwup everything that she had justeaten including a few small peices of cooked chicken. She has had diarehea non stop just about since she ate the chicken and she still throwsup food even if she eats her normal dry food. canned food and baby foods will not stay in her either. Her vet says to wait until friday morning to see if she recovers on her own. The problem is if she drinks water or eats it will eventually come back up or comes out as smelly runny stools. She is 6 years 7 months old and entering her senior years August 9th. I have had her since she was 3 1/2 months old and will not le ther die this soon. Sh eis way too young to leave me with a broken heart.

This morning on the 7/4 news they showed inhumane treatment of sick cows that were being shoved around with a fork lift,beaten across the head with a stick or something similar, or they were being dragged out of the trailer that they were brought in by a rope around a front leg. That made so upset that I couldn't believe they would show that on t.v. with all of americas children home and able to see that. What is everyone elses opinion on this and how would you go about putting a stop to this? I don't care if they are cattle or not, they do not deserve to be treated inhumanely if they are sick then euthanize them in the least painful way.

I am looking for a healthy female kitten that is between the ages of 6-8 weeks old to become a companion to a soon to be 7 year old spayed indoor only cat. She is extremely healthy and playful and does not have any health poblems at all.

I am looking for the rabbit cage with a mesh wire bottom so rabbits are off the floor of their cage and it has a removable pull out tray on the bottom to make cleaning the cage easier. I need to find two of those type of cages for a breeding pair of rabbits and to provide my female rabbit a secure place to have her babies. She has 3 more months before she is breedable, but need the cages ASAP.
