My HOA says they can not issue an Approval Letter for Hurricane Shutters installation until permit is filed.. and the Shutters company says they can not file for a permit until they have an Approval Letter from HOA. I'm stuck in the middle and in danger of having to cancel my project from lack of options. I understand both points of view but that leaves ME with no options. What to do?

He is an aging Betta, and out of all 3 of my Bettas he has been consistently the best one (Healthiest?) but in the last 3 months or so he has been building nests non-stop.

However, he has lost appetite and his personality seems to have changed a bit to something more relaxed and non-caring. My 2nd Betta has started to do the same thing, and is also less hungry.

Does building nests have something to do with this? They seem to be in a trance when taking care of the nest.

Is there any documentation required for the tax preparer (in this case, TurboTax) regarding your Homestead Exemption?

I realize this may be a silly question, but I filed using TTax, and it never asked about Homestead Exemption throughout the process.

I am a buyer (condo) who has met all responsibilities in my role of a buyer and I'm ready to Close prior to my originally agreed closing date.

The closing date is fast approaching. The realtor for seller is non-responsive and the seller is out of the country whom has given him Power of Attorney to close the deal.

What are my legal rights as a buyer if they do not meet the closing date? I'm not looking for a meal ticket but there have been honest-to-goodness expenses I will have incurred if they can't close.

There have been appraisal fees, inspection fees, and there will be storage fees that I will have paid in vain when I can't close on time due to the negligence on the Seller's part.

I'm willing to even file an extension but quite frankly I'm being kept in the dark by the realtor regarding what the delays are and why. I've made no progress in getting feedback and it looks like the April 30th deadline will not be made at this point.

Duties and responsibilities?

I am the buyer. I am closing on an apartment and the sellers realtor has a power of attorney. He removed the personal belongings from the sellers apartment.

Now that it has come time to close the deal he says that he's waiting for the power of attorney from the seller who is out of the country in order to sign.

Didn't he need power of attorney to begin with in order to remove the personal property.??

Where do I failed to see the logic in this?

My iTunes on the PC says that my iPad has 2 songs on it (it doesn't give titles, it just says 2 songs), but I have deleted all the content from the pad. I have tried everything I know to find out what my PC is seeing in the iPad. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this issue?

I have an iPhone 4, and here is the situation:

1. I shut off 3G

2. I shut off Cellular Connection

3. I shut off Roaming.

4. I shut off Wi-Fi

I dial any number, and I can still make that phone call, and receive phone calls. Why? What connection am I picking up that is bypassing all these settings that are designed to prevent phone usage?

My iPhone 3G sees my home router and it accepts my password but the "3G" sign remains on the top of the phone. It does NOT switch to the WiFi Icon but it shows as connected otherwise.

What am I doing wrong? It says connected but it obviously isn't because the "3G" sign remains on the top!!

My 2005 V5 Mustang was involved in a bumper-to-bumper accident. It wasn't MAJOR but enough to have the radiator damaged.

The car was repaired and I've been driving it for about 2 weeks now.

I noticed the check-engine light came on today on my way home from work. The repair shop hasn't mailed me the detailed invoice of what was done to it yet so I'm not sure what parts (other than the obvious) were replaced or worked on. All I know is that it was close to $4000 including labor, parts, and front paint job.

The car drives fine otherwise, and I do not see the temperature gauge any different so its not over heating or anything.

Lucky me! It went out of warranty 1 month ago. This plays a part in case the repair shop says it isn't a result of the accident!

What could it possibly be? That light never came on before the accident!

How do I protect (for example) A1:A10 yet leave everything around it open for data-entry?

PS: I am working with Excel 2007, but I also need this information for my 2003 files that I use on another computer as well.

With a (very) low credit score, no financial institution is willing to help me with a consolidation loan based on signature (I have no assets to use as collateral). After having lost my job and having my vehicle stolen I am no longer able to satisfy my credit card payments which have gotten out of control and it is unlikely I will ever catch up to them. They're way too high and piling up.

My credit score is way too low and 4 banks have already turned me down for a loan. Each time I apply it affects the Beacon score even more.

I've contemplated filing Bankruptcy.

My question is: If I don't file Bankruptcy and just ignore my bills, what is the difference? My credit couldn't go down any more than it is. It's in the 400's range already.

I slept in the wrong position for the last couple of nights and my lower back is hurting. What is a good over the counter medicine for this?

I took some extra strength tylenol but I've seen things advertised especially for back pain and I can't remember what it was. Thanks!

I used to have a Chess game for my pc where the pieces were people, and when you moved a piece they would "walk" to their destination and fight each other.

I'm looking for something like this online and I can't find anything like it. I don't remember the name of the game or its manufacturer.

Any clues as to what it was or something similar to it? It was not an internet game, it was a Player Vs. Computer only.

What is the difference between Game Draw, Stale Mate, and Check Mate?

Sometimes I'll win a game on my pc and it tells me its a Draw. Why isn't it a checkmate? What are the rules regarding this final move?

My Girlfriend will be having an operation soon (Hernia) where she won't be able to walk for awhile. How is she going to get pain medication (or any medication) filled at the pharmacy if she obviously can't drive there (or walk) to get it?
