Iphone 3G WiFi Problem?
My iPhone 3G sees my home router and it accepts my password but the "3G" sign remains on the top of the phone. It does NOT switch to the WiFi Icon but it shows as connected otherwise.
What am I doing wrong? It says connected but it obviously isn't because the "3G" sign remains on the top!!
I have Reset Network settings, doesn't work. I have turned off 3G, doesn't work -- Edge is taking preference over WiFi. I've looked on the net for solutions and found people with the same problem with dates listed over a year ago and have not found the answer yet.

try going to setting<general<network
turn 3g off and it will turn off, and wifi usually overrides edge and 3g so that is weird, but i'm pretty sure edge won't override wifi, unless your iphone has really messed up settings.
