  • A question about registration?

I live in Vermont and I'm registering my car next Friday. We all know how much of an enjoyable experience going to the DMV is so to speed up the process, I went to their website and filled out/printed out all the forms for registration, tax/title and a vanity plate. I guess my question is, will the DMV accept these forms or are they just meant to be mailed in? I can't imagine it would make a difference between mailing them in and walking them in myself...I hope I didn't waste my time.

  • Trailblazer 4wd engagement?

When switching to 4hi or 4lo in a 2002 trailblazer, do you have to be in neutral or park? I tried switching to 4lo this evening while in park and the light on the switch just blinked and never went solid but when I switched to a4wd the light went solid. Please don't say read the owners manual...the vehicle didn't come with one.

  • Zenith LCD Problem?

My family owns a Zenith rear projection LCD model E44W46LCD. We have owned it for about 3 years and always made sure to clean/replace the filter on a regular basis. Roughly 3 weeks ago, I noticed a blue spot on the left side of the TV, that spot has now grown and a yellow blotch has appeared in the center of the TV along with the blue spot. Oh and the lamp indicator is orange which means the lamp is getting near it's service life and needs replacing. My question is, is the lamp going or could the light engine be failing? The fact that the picture is dim leads me to believe it's the lamp but I would like further information.

  • Mysterious missing RAM?

My friend and I built a new computer from scratch. It has an EVGA 122-CK-NF67-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i LT SLI ATX Intel Motherboard, Intel Core 2 Quad Processor, Running Vista Home Premium, EVGA 8800GTX GPU and 4GB of Crucial Ballistix 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel. The computer is only showing 2.75 GB of RAM, what could the problem be?

  • Hard Drive Question?

My friend and I just built a new computer from scratch. We have an EVGA 680i SLI enabled motherboard, 2 hard drives - Raptor 150GB and Western Digital 500GB. The 150GB is where the OS was installed(WIndows Vista Home Premium) along with other important apps (anti-virus, things like that). My question is both drives are connected and the computer recognizes them but we would like to use the 500GB for storage but it doesnt show up when we try to put stuff on it. Does it need to be formatted? If so, how do we do that? Both HDDs are Sata, IDE is so old school :P

On another unrelated note we installed 4GB of Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800 PC2 6400 Dual Channel memory, but the computer is only showing 2.75 GB of memory. Is the other 1.25GB reserve memory or did we install something wrong? Other than these 2 issues, the computer is running like a champ.

  • Question about overclocking?

    Ok here's my setup:

1.EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

    2. EVGA 768-P2-N831-AR GeForce 8800GTX 768MB 384-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card

    3. Antec TruePower Quattro TPQ-1000 ATX12V / EPS12V 1000W Power Supply

    4. Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 Kentsfield 2.4GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80562Q6600

    5. Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model BL2KIT12864AA804 ( 4GB total).

I'd like to overclock the processor to 3.0GHz. When it comes to computers I'm not stupid but this is my first home build and I've never dealt with setting up BIOS and all that good stuff. Could somebody explain the overclocking process to me? By the way it's the Q6600 with B3 Stepping :( [Couldn't find one with GO stepping for the life of me] I will also be running Vista Home Premium if that makes difference.

  • Building a RAID Array?

I'm building a computer with a Western Digital Raptor X 150GB 10,000 RPM 16MB Cache Serial ATA150 Hard Drive, a Western Digital Caviar 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb Hard Drive and a EVGA 122-CK-NF68-A1 LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 680i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard. I want to put the OS as well as some games on the Raptor but have music, photos, whatever else on the 500GB. Can I/Do I have to assemble these HDs in a RAID Array and if so, how would I go about doing it? I plan on using Vista if that makes any difference

  • Paintball goggle lenses?

Does anyone know where I can find Paintball goggle lenses that have graphics on them (like skulls or eyes or flames). I saw them in a magazine a couple years ago and I can't seem to find any website that sells them.

  • Grand Prix Power Seat?

Ok so I went out this morning to move the driver side power seat on my 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix GT 2DR foward and it wouldnt budge. It still moves up and down and tilts foward and back but doesnt go back and forth. I checked the fuse and the circuit breaker and they're fine. I also checked all the wiring and connectors under the seat as well as checked for any obstructions in the track, nothing. Im guessing one of the motors is burned out but Im not sure which cause there's 3 of them under there. If anyone could give me some advice Id greatly appreciate it.
