I have one 4yr old Dachshund male. I will be moving into a new house within a year. I want a 2nd dog. When is the best time to get the second dog?

***is it best to get the 2nd dog at the time we ALL move into the new house?

***or should i let the first dog get used to the new house, THEN get a 2nd dog.

--I am thinking that if i get the new dog at the time of moving in, then my first dog wont be as territorial??? I am not sure... any ideas???!

I filed for UI back in early December, had my 'fact finding' interview in late January. Everything was ok, but I have YET to see a single dime. I cannot reach anyone---there phone mail boxes are either full or I get hung up due to the amount of callers. I have been fortunate to get to a live voicemail and have been leaving pleasant but firm messages, and I am never called back.

I am currently on Adderall and do not like it. I also take Effexor for depression and anxiety.

Last month my doc said that strattera might be better, so im weening off of Adderall. I read that Strattera makes alot of people tired. I've also researched Wellbutrin which seems to give people 'energy' and not grogginess of other anti-depressants.

My front windshield defroster/defogger works, but the back window does not. Could this just be a short somewhere, a bad wire connection?

Its almost fall and winter and i need to fix it before i have a sheet of ice blocking my rear view!

Is this expensive to fix? Is it possible to fix it myself (or a friend with lots of car repair knowledge)?

There are some lights that do not work (like the passenger seat heater button does not light up when on) so many theres just a few fuses or wires that need fixing? I dont want to be screwed by a mechanic.

I melted two Yankee Candle Jars that had 1/4 of wax in each. I poured the two melted waxes after boiling into one of the jars, dipped the wick, and let dry. The final product is flawed... the wax did not dry evenly in the jar... theres a depression in the center and the wax around the outer edges dried higher up... kinda like a bowl... How do i get my new wax mixture to dry evenly in the jar?

I got an Rx for adderall on July 1st, and saw my doctor this week and he wrote me another script, it was dated 7/22 (he wont be in next week when i would usually see him). The date is legit; but whats the pharmacy's rule for releasing adderall? i believe they will give it to me a few days before the 30 day period has expired but does anyone know specifics?

I've had a Pothos houseplant for almost a year and it doesnt seem to have grown. Some leaves vine over the side of the pot but they haven't grown any longer. I tried re-potting the plant into a bigger pot for more root growth and its still not doing anything! Should i put a 'stake' in it and make it vine up? Or perhaps it needs more (indirect) sun?

I am supposed to take 3 10mg a day, i get a total of 90 pills a month. I am due in a week for my next appointment/refill, but stupid me used more than i should i ran out.

Will my pysch doctor prescribe me more a week before i was supposed to end it? Should i call my regular physician and explain i ran out and need an Rx to cover me to next week? Or will they all deny me and think i am abusing it?

I dont intentionally abuse it, there were just days that I really needed more (busy at work). It was a bad idea but now I'm stuck. Any thoughts?

I moved into my boyfriends parent's condo 2 years ago. I legally changed my place of residency to that address. There was no written contract, no mention of paying any rent or mortgage.

My boyfriend and I got into a fight and he threatened to kick me out. Can he do that? He doesn't pay rent either. Is there some time i legally have to stay and remove my stuff?

I am in counseling for several reasons. I go see a 'therapist' for once or twice a month. Then i see the MD once a month for about 5 minutes. He gives me my prescriptions.

Now the MD doesnt really know whats going on except for the notes he reads from the counseling sessions. In those sessions we have discussed substance abuse issues i have.

On one visit to the MD i asked about ADD medication and he prescribed me Adderall, which now has me addicted and its horrible. This is a highly addictive drug.

I told my counselor about my problem with it, and he asked me if i ever told the MD about substance issues. I said no, because i told YOU and he is 'supposed' to read your notes. Apparently he didnt. I was told not to "assume" anything. WTF.

So should i seek another doctor? The MD should have known that adderall and myself would not be a good combination, if he read the notes...

It was about 7 degrees this morning, i warmed up and my car for 5-10 minutes, and everthing was fine. Then i noticed the needle on the thermostat (?) going back down to C. Then i shut the heat off and it started to raise back to the middle again, and going a little bit up toward H.

Is the extreme cold to blame, or did Jiffy Lube mess something up when they changed my antifreeze last thursday? This has never happened to me before.

Im on adderall and i havent slept for the past 2 nights at all. Unfortunately its during the week and i have to go to work and be alert, so i have to take more adderrall or else i am afraid i'll crash my car or do something really screwed up at work. Anyone caught up in this cycle????????

Can anyone explain to me why valtrex has only been proven in clinical trials for heterosexual couples only, and not homosexual? This has me baffled. Is it discriminatory? I dont think theres a difference between a gay herpe and a straight herpe.

I recently picked up a prescription for generic medication. The pharmacy said the insurance co. wanted to talk to the doctor first before they'd cover it. I bought the medication anyway, it was cheap enough.

If i have my doctor call them now, would they possibly reimburse me for the cost they didnt cover originally?

I was just prescribed 5mg of adderall, taking 2 a day. After discussing with my therapist, he suggested talking with my Psych. and seeing if an additional 5mg a day may help. Now would a pharmacy give me more of the same controlled substance? Would they have issue with getting more adderall after i already have a 30 day prescription? I know they are tight with the rules and laws regarding this.

I have to use Medco for prescription drugs through my healthplan at work. When i was first covered, they claimed they could not cover Effexor and there was no generic, so they suggested a 'similar' drug, which of course was a name brand, Cymbalta.

They arent similar, the ingredients are totally different. I did research after the fact and found that YES Effexor does come in generic (even at the time I inquired about it). I had a terrible experience with Cymbalta, even going to the ER once.

Is Medco liable for any of this? They flat out LIED to me. Maybe i should have done my due dilligence first, but i didnt think the company would lie. I guess i was too naieve.

Is there a prize? Do i get money!?! Or one of those "C" piggy banks? Does anyone know?
