Help me remember name of UK semi-famous woman (see Clues)?
She was an English model, doing most of her work in the 80s.
Dark hair. Porcelain white skin.
Later did TV work, including a fashion segment with Sarah Greene on afternoon TV in the mid 90s.
Plummy voice, and very talkative lady. He voice and demeanour gave you the impression she'd have a lot of naughty things to say to you in private.
I mistakenly thought this woman was Fiona Fullerton (and recently lost a £1 bet), but it's not Fiona Fullerton, who is blonde anyway. This woman looks like a bit like a Fiona though... as though that should be her name if you looked at her. Although I can't recall her name.
Thanks.

5 AnswersFashion & Accessories8 years agoBought an Auto Fuse Tester.. like a screwdriver, with a wire and crocodile clip, but how do you use it?
There were no instructions on how to use it.. nothing on the box or inside.
It is like a screwdriver but has a pointy tip. There is a bit at the top for a plug-in cable which has a crocodile clip on it.
Thanks if you can offer an answer.
4 AnswersCar Audio1 decade agoOld story / fable: About someone who keeps swopping an item for another item?
That is all I can remember of it... also maybe it didn't have a happy ending for the swopper.
Can anyone suggest what it might be? The name of the story / fable?

5 AnswersMovies1 decade agoWhat could I hide my Mum's holiday cash in?
She's staying in an apartment in Spain with friends.
On some days they'll be going to the beach. She doesn't want her cash on her all the time, and plans to leave some back at the apartment.
I thought about hollowing out a book but it seems difficult to do.
Thanks.

The phenomenon wakes me up as becomes painful and you have to kick your shoes off.

Just a bed where occasionally am so tired I fall on top of the bed fully clothed.
Thanks.
9 AnswersOther - General Health Care1 decade agoWhy are roofs not made out of interlocking plastic sheets instead of stupid single tiles?
Cause having paid £900 to get my Mum's kitchen extension roof re-tiled after a untraceable leak amongst the old tiles, where water came in and damaged the internal kitchen ceiling below.........
....I mean the whole section could have just been a sheet of rigid black plastic and job done surely? Totally waterproof.
6 AnswersOther - Home & Garden1 decade agoWill the Europeans kills us all in 10 days time when the Large Hadron Collider gets switched on?
In 10 days the Hadron Collider experiment in Geneva gets turned on, for scientists to smash sub-atomic particles together at over a trillion degrees cent (higher than any temp known in the universe). Opposing scientists have lodged legal challenge to the European Court for Human Rights because they fear the experiment could create mini black holes which could "tear the planet apart".
"It will fire atomic particles around its 17 mile circumference, 11,245 times every second before smashing them headlong into each other. The result will, for a split second, replicate the conditions that existed in the moments immediately after the birth of the universe, known as the Big Bang. In a space a billion times smaller than speck of dust, the collisions will create temps x100000 hotter than the centre of the sun."
