    We all now realise that western democracy is not a success but we have no viable alternative and as such are slowly slipping into a corporate state, can democracy be altered/adjusted to make it good enough to last into the future, or will it have to be scrapped entirely?

  • If God exists, then is he/she/it good or evil?

    I have been wondering to myself about this for a while. In the old testament of the bible God murdered humans with impunity, set them on fire drowned them on mass etc.

    He created all life, and then created diseases that kill us all in horrible pain.

    According to the religious books he demands our worship and loyalty.

    All these acts point to a God that is selfish and evil that wants to be honoured (most dictators of the modern era wanted the same things) so is god evil. And if so if the devil is the "opposite of god" does that make him good?
