My wife opened a best buy card 3 years ago, we couldn't keep up with the payments and now it went to court. We have 28 days to respond, the account has been sold to oliphant financial and they want almost $3200 for a $1200 account. My brother owes us 2/3 of the balance, but we dont have the funds to settle. I want to try and postpone this until we can settle the account. Please advise on what we should do. We live in Ohio.

I need to repsond to the letter to both the attorney and the court. My brother said if we write a letter then we can find out how much they (oliphant) bought the debt for and maybe will have some leverage.

I have limited funds a friend that has 225/60/16 tires that are really good. Can I put these on my 2008 Ford Fusion SE? The tire size on there now is 205/60/16. Please let me know.

I was sitting on the ground watching youtube videos trying to help my son practice contact juggling. I dropped the ball on the front right hand corner of my Gateway Laptop, the video stopped. I shut down the computer and now it starts up and the black screen says "Operating System Not Found". There is also a very light sounding clicking noise coming from the area that I dropped the ball on? Does anyone have any idea on what this may be? I was told I possibly broke the hard drive? Does that sound accurate? If it is, is that any easy fix? I don't want to spend a whole bunch of money. I need the computer fixed asap, because my classes are going to start on Monday.

I am going to be purchasing 2 nintendo dsi's for xmas for my two sons. Is it true that you only need one game cartridge in one of the dsi's and both can play the game at once through a cable or wifi connection? My wife said that an associate at the store told her this. Please advise.

They want to take advantage of the first time home buyer credit in the 2009 Economic Stimulus Package, can they take title to a new home on 6/1/09 and qualify for the $8,000 tax credit?

I am putting up a new dog ear shadow box fence. I am building it piece by piece, not by using pre-made panels. I have all materials on order and have rented a skidster with an auger attachment. I am just looking for any help/recommendations from experience. I have ordered 480 fence boards, 34-4"x4"x8', 60-2"x4"x8', 18-2"x4"x16', 34 bags of quickrete quick setting cement, and 17 bags of all purpose gravel. I also have rented a skidster to remove the existing fence, and an auger attachment to dig the new holes. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

The maximum demsions are 7"(length) x 2-15/16"(width) x 3 1/16"(height). Any ideas, help, and pictures would be greatly appreciated. I would like him to be able to paint most when I am done carving it. He is 6 years old and is a good painter. Thanks in advance.

I am looking to purchase a home in OHIO, built in 1994-1995. I was walking through the basement and noticed a lot of various cracks throughout the basement. It is a block foundation and I found cracks going horizontal through the mortar only, cracks going horizontal through the mortar and block, cracks going down the mortar, looking like steps, and cracks going vertical up the wall through the block and mortar. Am I asking for a problem by purchasing this home? Please advise.

My lease is due to end on 1/24/08. I currently pay $350.15 per month, I have 22,500 miles on the car now. I will have 6 months left on the lease on 7/24/07. A friend of mine told me that you could turn a lease in upto 6 months early w/o penalty, is that correct? Also, my overage is .20-.25 per mile. I am going to buy a new FORD when this lease is up, what are my options? I want to limit the amount of money I will have to pay whether I turn the lease in now or when it's due, please advise.
