Ever since I moved into my res, my speakers have been acting really weird. They have this weird background static noise and it's really annoying. They even pick up random radio stations! This could be because I live in Toronto so the CN Tower might be interfering.

I also tried to find out if it was my computer, so I inserted my headphones into the speaker/headphone jack and there wasn't any static at all. What's happening?

My parents want me to stay home for uni cuz the uni I'm going to is an hour away and my dad works in the city and commutes there every morning. It'll be a lot cheaper than living in res, but I really want the res experience, especially in my first year. What are your thoughts? I'll be attending U of Toronto (St. George) in the fall.

I'm going to U of T (St. George campus) in the fall and is it good for that? My other choices were Carleton and York, which are also apparently good. My parents want me to go to U of T cuz of its rep. What do you think?
