  • Check this out, I got flagged...Why?

I answered this question and Y/A sent me a violation notice. What is wrong with this answer?Question: If democratic congress uses reconciliation?

Question Details: Will it cause a riot, or a revolution? Amidst questions of whether or not any Senate Republicans will support a health care reform bill, Jim Manley, spokesman for Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., today said that the “White House and the Senate Democratic leadership still prefer a bipartisan bill.” The Reid spokesman said that “neither the White House nor the leadership have made a decision to pursue reconciliation,” the somewhat controversial legislative process by which a bill is introduced in such a manner so that it requires merely 50 votes instead of 60 to proceed to a vote, thus removing the threat of filibuster. Manley said that “we will not make a decision to pursue reconciliation until we have exhausted efforts to produce a bipartisan bill.” “However,” he cautioned, “patience is not unlimited and we are determined to get something done this year by any legislative means necessary.” “By any means necessary” is a phrase popularized by Malcolm X (demanding the rights of African-Americans to be respected in society), though it is thought to have originally been penned by French existentialist Jean Paul Sartre in his play about assassination “Dirty Hands” (in a line demanding the end of class). ABC NEWS. over 60% of the population is against this bill, has the government gone mad with power, or just mental?

Deleted Answer: Well, in the past two election cycles Democrats have gained convincing majorities in both chambers, the House and the Senate. Obama ran on health care reform and won by 192 electoral votes. What is the Republican solution to health care reform? What's their plan? Besides having shouting matches at Town Hall meetings to justify and defend a tired and bankrupt ideology! Where's the BEEF? I hope Democrats ram it through without one single Republican vote. After all it's the will of the people that gave Democrats a mandate last November. The President needs to put forth a set of conditions to get his party in line. Fvck Republicans, they're the one's who got us into this mess and the only solution they offer is more of the same.

  • Republicans, what now?

You put a woman on the ticket, elected a black to head the NRC, and a latino to deliver the Republican response to President Obamas' congressional address tonight. Are you going to propose more anti- gay marriage amendments/referendums in red-state primaries in 2010?

  • I've got the holiday blues...will it get better?

I handed a letter to this girl I like back in July and it upset her. Not because the letter was vulgar or threatening in any way, but because I suspect the truth often hurts. When I gave it to her she was so sweet and sincere about it that she basically dis-armed me, and I didn't know how to take it back. I felt awful. I confronted her and told her if I had known that she would be so sincere and so sweet, I would have written a thousand things...and none of it would've been from that stupid letter. I said: I like you Karen, I like you a lot and I often think of you and I wanna believe you might just like me too. She had this sheepish look on her face, but her friend stoped by and asked her if she wanted to go to the ladies room with her and she did. I haven't said anything since because she just left me hanging there. I feel foolish and I don't know if, or what I should say to her next time I see her. Should I take this as an answer...her not responding? I can't stop thinking of her. Should I just move on?

  • Is George Bush racist?

I think not. I recall him boasting during one of his State Of The Union Addresses, that under his administration home ownerships were at a record high among minorities. This president is so enabling that he has guaranteed us that one gets the White House.

  • If Hillary needed a double-digit victory in Pennsylvania...What does Obama need in North Carolina?

By outspending her 3 to 1 to blunt that margin in Penn...would it be safe to say that a single-digit loss for Clinton would be a "victory" in N.C.!!!...

  • What happens If?

this Obama flap with his pastor and his remark that his grandmother is a TYPICAL white person doesn't go away, and Hillary wins big in Pennsylvania and starts gaining momemtum but not enough pledged delegates...How will people view Michigan and Forida if they don't re-vote there? Should the Superdelegates... relevant to their true intentions...decide what's best for the party? Or go into the general election campaign with a candidate that can't win!!! In my opinion, if you want to play with Republicans, you have to play as hard as they do. Democrats are being idiots by selecting delegates proportionately instead of winner take all, like Republicans do. Hillary Clinton ( California, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Texas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Florida etc.) would have won hands down and the party wouldn't be in this predicament now.

  • How's this pitiful primary season going?

Barack Obama and John McCain are exchanging barbs about the Iraq war as if they're the presumed nominees. McCain is a given, but Obama is being cocky. My complaint is; time is running out on Hillary Clinton... and the most pressing issues this country is facing are economical. Record foreclosures, high gas prices, cost of food is rising, health care, inflation etc. The clock is running out on a candidate who is more qualified to deal with these problems ( heaven forbid we go back to the policies of the 90's of peace and prosperity) but the media and the electorate can't seem to grasp it. Are we that stupid? Obama will continue making (MLK) speeches and McCain doesn't even understand economics. In the N.H. primary Obama had a double digit lead, but the voters go it right. I'm praying Texas and Ohio can do the same.

  • Plagiarizing?

Did he or is it just me? Last night's debate between Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama was a classic example of it. Wasn't it? Most of the night Hillary laid out her plans in specific detail only to have Obama completly agree, throw in his 2cents, or outright repeat what she had just said...word for word. There is no doubt in my mind that she is the workhorse...and he's the show horse. Americans watch too much TV...You need to read between the lines...It's just like Reagan, the "Great Communicator" ( an actor) whose image was purely visual...with very little substance. Lets get real!!!

  • Should I have been flagged by Yahoo Answers (Customer Care)??

HERE'S MY ANSWER...The diagnosis considered to be a mental disorder first requires a brain...so it doesn't apply to conservatives. Meat head!

HERE'S THE QUESTION: Why is Liberalism considered to be a mental disorder???

In order to be mental, it does require a brain.

If I asked why is conservatism considered to be a mental disorder, people may take offense just like I did when the question was posed to liberals...

Perhaps my answer was offensive...but so was the question.
