  • when will an adult tooth stop being wobbly?

I fainted nearly a week ago and knocked my front tooth and busted my lip. My gums were swollen and purple for a while but they seem to be going back to normal, however my tooth still feels wobbly. I had an x ray of my face so I know that there's no damage tothe root or anything and iI'm just wondering when it will stop being wobbly or what I can do to help it and what sorts of food to avoid etc.

  • Can you register with 2 GP's?

I am a student and I'm home for the summer so I won't be able to travel 100 miles to visit the GP I'm registered with now but I need to see a doctor soon. Will I be able to register with a GP in my hometown as well? Even if it's just for the summertime

  • Will I be admitted to a psych ward if I go to A&E for an overdose of anti-depressants?

I live in the UK and I'm wondering if I will be admitted to a psych ward if I go to A&E after overdosing on citalopram? This isn't a suicide attempt and for me it is a form of self-harm. I also don't feel much worse after doing so but I'm afraid of any lasting damage I may be doing to myself. Will I be kept in at all? If so for how long? Is there a chance I will be sectioned? What exactly can I expect from a visit to A&E if I do decide to go? And what should I myself do or say when I'm there? I'm interested in seeing other peoples experiences of this as I know myself that I have been poorly treated by ambulance staff before. I DO NOT want replies from people who have no knowledge or experience of this particular subject.

  • Will my mental health affect the likelihood of becoming a teacher?

I am very certain that I suffer from depression or another mental illness and this has been noticed by others. However, I am dubious about going to a doctor about this and receiving medical treatment because I know that I will be subjected to medical checks in my chosen profession as a teacher. I am wondering if this will affect my job prospects if I am diagnosed. I am aware that there are anti-discriminatory laws in practice but my question would be how well do employers stick to these. Basically, if I want to become a primary school teacher should I be worried about a mental illness on my medical record?

  • Why do I get unexplained bruises on my legs?

I'm an 18 year old girl and I keep waking up with a crazy amount of bruises on my legs with absolutely no idea how I'm getting them. I'm generally not a very clumsy person so I've just been putting the bruises down to banging into stuff when I'm drunk, but I've found that even on weekends I don't go out and on weekdays as well I still get all these bruises. I get them all over my legs too, from my ankles to the top of my thighs, so I don't see how all of those could be banging into things. I have at least 20 small bruises about the size of a penny on each leg and then around 5 substantial sized bruises. They're generally brown in colour but some of them can be a blue purple colour. This has been happening for about 6 months and is really starting to annoy me because I have to keep my legs covered up because it looks like I'm being beaten at home. Seriously, one of my teachers stopped me after class and asked me was everything okay at home.

  • How can I hide self harm scars when on holiday?

I have some not so large but still noticeable scars on my forearms, thighs and one ankle. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how I can hide these when I'm on holiday? The ones on my thighs aren't such a worry other than when I'm at the beach and swimming. I've considered a spray tan and make-up for them but wouldn't the tan blotch when applying sun cream? and wouldn't the make-up come off when I'm swimming? Also, the ones on my arm are a worry for all the time. I usually wear 3/4 length sleeves so my less noticeable scars are on show but the closer you get to my elbow the worse they get. I've been using bio-oil on them for a few weeks but it says that it takes about 3 months before you see real results and by that time I'd be gone and back. Anyways point is I don't need treatment ideas, I need disguising ideas. Sorry if this is a bit rambley.

  • How can I cover up cutting scars?

I have to go swimming every week with my da and I need advice on how to cover up my self harming scars on my arms. I can hide the ones on my legs by wearing shorts but not the ones on my arms. They start about 2 or 3 inches above my wrists so I can't hide them with bracelets and I can't wear tan or concealer since I'll be in the pool. Any idea what I can do?

  • How can I write faster?

I am doing an AS in Politics which requires me to write a lot in very little time. Unfortunately I have never been very good at this and rarely get a test that is comprised mainly of essays finished. I would like to get this one finished so I can do well in it as I'd love to keep it up til A2 but I don't think this will happen. At the minute my writing isn't very neat but is legible (just) and I'm at a loss about what to do

  • Can I teach with these A Levels?

Will I be able to teach in a primary school in northern Ireland with Double Award Health and Social Care, Irish and Politics. I'll be doing a degree in early years then (hopefully) doing a PGCE through the medium of Irish. I've heard that if you don't have a core a level though you can't teach in a primary school and I was wondering is this true? or are my choices acceptable?

  • How can I fix frizzy my hair?

I have long straight hair that is ridiculously frizzy. It seems that every article and product for fixing the frizz is aimed at people with curly hair and so I'm lost about what to do with mine. I've tried using serums but they've either left my hair stiff as a board or flat and boring. Does anyone know any ways to get rid of frizzy hair naturally or any (effective) serums or creams that would get rid of the frizz and let me keep my volume or is it just one or the other with me?

  • Will they tell my parents?

I'm 16 living in northern Ireland and I have a lot of scars from self harming, I was considering going to the doctors to see if I could get any scar treatment to deal with it but I was wondering if they'd have to tell my parents or if they'd want me to go to therapy. I really only want the cream

    thanks
