I have a kitchen granite countertop with a matching four inch border. The design for the backsplash that I am installing is a beautiful large slate tile with a beautiful border that should go on the bottom. Thanks for your opinions!

It's mid may in California and my potted spanish lavender plant has lost its purple color. It looks fine except it has turned grayish in color. It just seems too early for this plant to lose its color. Is there something that I can do to help it regain its purple color? It gets watered consistantly and is in full sun on the front walkway. Thanks for helping.

My deceased mother appeared in an orb and spoke to me telepathically(I heard her in my mind, but she didn't actually speak). She said "Hi honey, I'm alright". I know how crazy this sounds, but it is the truth. I have never had any strange or unusual experience before or since. I was not grieving at the time, nor was I upset or even thinking of her when I went to sleep that night. It happened at about 6:00am in the morning. I was just waking up. I think there must be a period of time between sleeping and waking up when they are able to communicate to us. I guarantee you, I was not dreaming. I even asked her to do it again, because I did not want to question whether or not this was really taking place. When I went back to sleep, at the same time right before waking she appeared again, but she was only able to begin a question when another face appeared in the light and then she lost communication and the light went out...and I woke up completely. She said, "Honey I need you to bring me" and that was it. I thought it was amazing that some other lady was trying to come through and communicate as well. I guess our energy/spirit travels with others. It has never happened since, but It is certainly an experience I will never forget. Ever happened to you?

My mother appeared to me and spoke to me telepathically in an orb (a ball of light). Her face only appeared and I heard her say, "Hi honey, I'm alright!". I heard her in my mind, but didn't actually hear the words come out of her mouth, and then the ball of light disappeared. When the experience was over, I immediately thought...that was wierd that I heard her speak to me in my mind, but didn't actually hear her say those words out of her mouth. I know this sound strange, but It really did happen to me. It is the only experience like this I've ever had, but It surely makes me believe that our spirits do go on...when exactly they go I don't know. She didn't tell me, darn it! My teen daughter has dark blonde hair and would like to naturally lighten her hair. Unfortunately, it is January and there's not much sun out to sit out by the pool. If you have any good suggestions, we'd sure appreciate the help! Thank you for taking the time to help.

I know it is not a good idea to put two male betas together because they will fight and will possibly kill one another. I know putting a male an female together can go either way, they may like each other and make babies, or they may be agressive with one another, but i am unsure about putting two females together. Here's the situation...My girlfriend and I have been very close friends for about 9 years now. She has 5 boys, and I am very close to her and her family. My husband, daughter and I made an effort to be at every birthday their family members have, and we have always given them a gift. I wouldn't think of attending a birthday without bringing a child a gift. We asked them to come over and celebrate our child's 12th birthday, but her and husband could not come because of a family wedding; however they sent their boys over to come celebrate with us...without a present! I am angry that she did not come by to tell my child happy birthday in person, and certainly angry that she did not send a present wih her boys. I wouldn't have been upset in the least if she did not give a present to myself or my husband...but to not send a present for my child after all the gifts I've given her five boys over the years really makes me angry! I know she didn't forget, because she sent her boys over.

I need to have large back tooth removed because it did not take well to a rootcanal that was done. It got infected, and now It has to be removed. I use this tooth to chew on, so I need to have either a bridge or implant put in its place. The dentist is going to put in a bone graft so I can decide if I want an implant at a later date after it heals. I am scared to death. I only have a few other fillings, and certainly have never had a tooth removed before. I have never been put to sleep. Do you think it is necessary?

I am going into the seventh grade and I am starting to like boys. I need to lose about 17 pounds by August 21. Oh and I am a girl but on a wierd named profile. Please help , I have done everyhing I could and nothing works fast.

Please only serious answers. I have always wished I knew someone who was gay, so I could ask them if they were born with gay tendencies, or if they just preferred the same sex at some point in time. This answer is help me form an opinion on whether or not I think gays should be allowed to marry. I have a paper that I am writing, and I'm unsure about my feelings on this subject.

We have plenty of children right here in the USA that need love and would love to be adopted, why go to another country. I think it is so important to take care of each other here at home before trying to save people in other countries.

I think my self-esteem has really suffered because I did not go to college, and now I don't have a career that would help to support my family. I have never been a smart student, yet I had all the opportunities to better myself. How can I get the courage to start college now at my age? Is it worth the time and effort at this age? I am not religious, and she did not say where she was or whom she was with. I need help, I use a ton of conditioner because my hair is very thick and Ican't find a shampoo that will make my hair soft and clean at the same time. I use Suave and it sure does clean my hair but it gets tangeled in knotts from scrubbing.Please give me any advice from a good shampoo to a website. Help!!!
