My employer requires we punch in 10 mins before start time.we then have to get all of our items needed for work ready and start at 8. We do not get paid for those 10 mins. It is just proof we are there at that time.

I do not feel I should touch a thing until 8 and give my employer 10 mins of my time every day. This adds up to 50 mins a week or 200 mins a month..I.e.3 hrs 20 mins a month.

I know this happened at a bank recently and the employer had to back pay employees.

A drunk hit and took off my drivers side electric mirror on a 99 old's 98 LS.. car in ex Excellent condition with 150,000 miles. I found a mirror online for 59.00. How much is a reasonable price for a mechanic to repair it. The man's insurance company is paying but sending check to me to get it fixed

I fell at work and torn the meniscus in my knee. I knew I hurt something the minute I did it. Comp took full resposibility and paid for the surgery.I will be out a total of six weeks. However , the docor informed me that while he scoped the knee,he found another prob not relatedto the menisus and said i should have it taken care of before it gets worse. My quesion is because I am already out can I go direcly from comp to New York State disabilityonce released' instead of going back to work for a few months and going out again?

To make a long story short...I was hired at a local resturant to wait tables....was told I would be called on Monday with my sch. I called on Monday when I had not heard anything and was told they were not finished because girls wanted time off...went in a few days later and owner told me he changed his mind because I am too old ( i am 55 ) I have witnesses to this...in fact he told me twice he was concerned about my age. Also, this morning I went there for breakfast and one of the waitresses told me she is so sorry he would not hire me, he only likes young girls and said he would not hire me because he only likes 9's and 10's and i am a 2 in his eyes....I have documented everything, have witnesses, dates of phone calls etc...should I contact a lawyer?

My friend is a commercial roofer, currently on winter lay off. Because of several problems his doctors have told him he should no longer work and have warned him that he is going to lose a leg from the knee down ( in fact they are suprized that he keeps going) My question is...he just got his winter lay off...can he file for SSD while collecting unemployment?

I recently went to the ER for leg pain and bruising...diagnosed with a blood clot in calf. The doctor told me that closts below the knee are generally left untreated. However, I was going to fly a few days later so he put me on coumadin. I then cancelled my flight.

I am having a hard time keeping my INR's at the 2.0 level...however, now that i am not flying should I continue with the coumadin. I asked the doctor if baby asprirn would be a good subsitute...she said that it would because of the location of the clot...if not for flying she would not have put me on coumadin. Anyone else stop the coumadin and take baby aspirin instead.

For at least 3 years I took Darvocet N 100 once or twice a day, sometimes none for tarsal tunnel pain and flare ups for fibromyalgia. This was a nice drug....not to strong...did not want lortabs. When it was pulled from the market I started taking about 4 tylenol a day. 2 weeks ago I had such bad stomach ache...almost like a gallbladder attack...could not eat...vomitting. Had to go to the hospital...was admitted to ICU for 5 days with critical elevated liver enzymes. Could these drugs have done this?

I have a 7 week old Boston Terrier Daschund mix. She is one of the fiestiest little pups I have ever had...very defiant. She is a hand nipper and have tried everything I know of to get her to stop, but she is just so pig headed.....HELP!

Speedo started jumping all over the place (RPM side works) . Then it stopped shifting , won't come out of first. If I shut the truck off and restart it , it will shift . Replaced the speedo output sensor, still no help. Any suggestions?

1999 Dodge Ram 1500...replaced brake light switch, turn signal switch and fuse under the hood...turn signals and 4 ways work, but no brake lights. Help! (the 4 ways and turn signals have always worked, it is just the brake lights)

I have investments thru a package at work. 80% was in stock, 20% in bonds. I lost 3000 this week. I can not take it out or I would be severely penalized. I can move it to bonds or IRA, where should I transfer this to or should I hold tight?

When we put the timing chain in it the marks were together cam 6 crank 12. Tried to start it and it backfired. Brought #1 back on top dead center again..(no cam and rotor both at 12).rotor is not pointing at 1 it is pointing at 6 Have done these before and never had any problems. Any suggestions?

My truck a 99 Dodge 5.2 will not start in the morning. It cranks and cranks, but when you let go of the key it fires. When pushing the gas pedal to clean out mode it will finially start and starts fine the rest of the day. Any ideas what the problem might be? It has a new fuel pump.
