I am writing a essay for "The Call of the Wild," and I'm supposed to avoid "is" at all possible. I've been doing pretty well, but I'm stuck at one part. Is there any way that I could rewrite this sentence to make it sound better without using "is"? I'm not looking to copy it onto my essay, just something that can help.

"The law of fang is much more deadly."

Would I be good? I'm a little worried about her Gengar. And should I evolve my Onix to a Steelix? Any more information about battle strageties would be good. Thanks! :))
