I got kicked on the outside of my right knee in class and the MRI and my orthopedist think I have a partial tear of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament. My physical therapist thinks I could go back to jiu-jitsu (snapping kicks, pivoting on throws) after strengthening the supporting muscles. I find it hard to believe the knee could handle these heavy stresses without an ACl repair which is ~year rehab. Is anyone out there in any martial art working getting away without the repair?

This is for use by my mother at her retirement home, the dining room does not sell wine but you can bring your own. She asked for a single-bottle carrier she's seen. I have looked under wine-caddy, wine-carrier and have not found what it is.

NOT an outdoor take-on-a-hike carrier.

She was an original show star but left after 10 episodes.

Now I'm seeing the reruns and she's pretty good.

I have heard

1) she had a DUI about then and her drinking got her booted

2) She didn't get along with David Caruso

Anyone know any other reasonable rumors?

She has told me that amazon.com in Brazil is only books and CDs. I would like to give her something for a more all-purpose store and also am wondering if there are any tax/tariff implications (gift size ~ $100)
