honda nsr 125 jc20 1990 model wont rev past 4k engine has no torque, spark plug is a little oily but no more than any other i ave seen still give a good spark, lots of old oil in the exhaust there is light blue smoke when carb is fully opened, oil pump is functioning properly

i have a gpz600 that i got given a couple month ago as a non running project.

i am quite technically minded and good around all things mechanical... but for some reason i cant get it running... have had it turning over with the help of a set of booster cables. so changed the battery ... and now nothing .... i have no lights which tells me its something electrical ... but god knows what.... i have stripped the bike down so manytimes now i am getting fed up ................... please help

the other day my engine warning light came on in my car at the same time it developed a missfire

and i was wondering if anybody out there could help me

i have been told that it could be either a HT lead or poss even the coil pack

any body else have any suggestions

i have already changed the plugs and will be flushing with injector cleaner at the weekend
