Hope everyone's alright. Lately, I have been having a small problem with my PS2. It was about a month since I switched it on and when I did, the display on my CRT TV turns to yellow.

The machine is usable and the games run perfectly as before, however all the colors are masked by a yellow "filter".

Moreover, this yellow "filter" does not appear every time but randomly, meaning that all the colors are displayed correctly for certain periods of time.

Something else I think is important to mention is that this only happens when I am playing the PS2. In fact, the colors are displayed correctly when watching TV or a DVD. It only happens on the PS2.

Do you think this problem is a result of a defect in the PS2 or something in the cables and/or the TV socket?

P.S. Can the problem be caused by high air humidity? I am asking this because in the past I have had technological devices malfunctioning because of humidity.

About a week ago I purchased a Sony DVP NS 708H DVD Player. I was extremely happy since at last I would be able to watch my DIVX movies on TV.

However, when I connected it to my CRT TV and tried to watch a DIVX movie, all sorts of lines appeared on the screen. On close inspection, I realized that these lines were sort of a "shadow" of the TV station that the television was on before changing the display to AV2.

It is pretty difficult to explain it.

For example, if the TV station prior to switching to AV2 was "Channel X", then when I switch to AV2 and switch on the DVD Player, "Channel X" appears in the background along with the video I am playing.

It is pretty annoying and is getting on my nerves.

Has anybody experienced the same thing? Is there a way how I can correct this problem?

How can I display the Application Window in full screen? Whenever I press the Maximize Button on the Title Bar, the Application Window moves to the top left corner of the screen but is not maximized. I know that there is a combination of keys to Maximize the Application Window but forgot which ones. Thank you.

Do small scratches (that are not deep) affect gameplay in a way that it will freeze or not work properly?

The scratches are only visible if you flash light onto the Discs' underside.

My friend is thinking about purchasing the PC game Half-Life 2.

His computer meets all the recommended requirements, except the Graphics Card.

The recommended Graphics Card model is GeForce FX 5600.

His Graphics Card model is GeForce FX 5200.

The minimum requirement for a Graphics Card is one which is able to run DirectX 7 Graphics.

A GeForce FX 5200 is able to run DirectX 9 Graphics.

Will the game run smoothly on his computer, even though his Graphics Card does not meet the recommended requirements?

Will the game be able to run smoothly if he sets the Video Options to low at least?

Any answers are greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine would like to know if the game F.E.A.R. will run smoothly on a PC with minimum requirements, with only the CPU power being on the recommended list.

He has all the latest drivers and Direct X 9.0c but the frames of the game are disastrous. What can he do to get it working properly? I told him to lower the resolution and set it to the lowest quality, but it did not make a difference.

The slow framerates make the game unplayable, and you can't adjust them. What can he do to get it working without purchasing anything?

Unfortunately, I don't know it's name. In the music video, there is a woman carrying a big heart wherever she goes. After the whole day, she does not find love and her heart diminishes. On a bus, she falls in love with a man and becomes his girlfriend. Her heart becomes big again. She is happy. Then she finds out that he betrayed her and as she is sad, her heart gets small and is broken hearted.

When I start the game it loads normally. As soon as I start playing the training level, all I see is blue. I can't even see a few metres before me. This is not normal.

I doubt that it was the graphics card but it supports the game. What can it be?

First of all, I do not have the game because I don't have a PSP. One of my friends told me that when you are swimming in GTA Vice City Stories, there is a meter and if the meter runs out you will die given that you don't exit the water. Is this true?

Did ever Miami Vice THE GAME ever come out because I can't find any rating for it?
