  • Need help with my glutes workout?

    Currently I can squat 200 pounds for a rep of 6, 4 sets. Not slacking!! I superset with different lunges, deadlifts, squats... My legs are great, my glutes are not. Any ideas how to target that area better, or is it just a matter of time till that muscle group will adapt as well?

  • Painful events in my past are hindering me from seeking higher education, how to get rid of insecurities?

    To be clear, this is comparable to loosing the last 10 pounds after loosing a TON of weight. I am happily married and have successfully broken the pattern of child abuse, my own 3 kids being happy and healthy. Now that my oldest is going to Kindergarten soon, I want to go back to school myself. But doing something for myself, thinking that I could possibly succeed is hard. I have all the support a person could ask for, but do not have the self esteem it seems. That makes me angry, frustrated and a little surprised. I did not think there was anything existing still from those days, and after all the hard work it took to get where I am today. Any insight or encouragement is appreciated!

    I am 5'7" tall, and lately my size 2 is very loose fitting on me. I work out a lot, cardio and weights. So I assume my body fat percentage is pretty low for a woman. But I always thought size zeros were somwhere around 115 pounds.

  • Pottytraining...help pleeeaase?

    My girl is turning 3 the end of January. Not only is she not potty trained, she won't even tell me when there is something in her training pants. She'll actually tell me:" no pipi in my pants!" when there is. Now her brother was very hard to potty train, too. But this is just hard to deal with! I keep telling her that all we need to do right now is for her to tell me when there is anything happening, just tell mommy. Before or after wards, just tell me. Because I believe with my oldest it's been harder on him because i started before he was quite ready. With her I waited till she demanded to sit on the potty, wear training pants and so on. And now this...Any advice would be so helpful, I just want to help her. And also, since i have a 1 year old also, just changing one kid's diaper sounds just like a vacation right around now!

    i have some serious scars on the back of m head. i don't remember what caused them. i'm 31 years old, and the scars are "well healed". i've asked everybody who ever knew me, if they know how i got those scars, no one talks. lately the subject came up again with an optometrist, he asked if i had any trauma on the right side of my back skull... i have no memories, just vague bad ideas. is there any chance i suppressed memories so well i can't remember them if i try, and if, how can i remember?

    i have a maxtor for the pictures, so i know they have to be in there somewhere, but i can't find them. i found some zipped files, but can't open them.any ideas on how to find my lost pics? it is only pictures in a certain time frame, anything before and after is still there. i am NOT computer savvy at all, so any answers, please explain in very easy language if possible!

  • how good is jogging for you when trying to loose weight?

    how many miles are good and how many times a week? i just got myself in well enough shape for a 2 1/2 mile run and my recovery time is pretty good now, too. since i had three kids in quick succession that was no easy feat! i try to run every day but my hubby is gone every other week.

    i eat healthy without depriving myself and don't want to change that. so i'm wondering how long it will take me to reach my weight goal.genetically i guess i'm blessed, i'm 5'7" and currently weigh 135. not bad, but not where i feel good, yet. it's not much, just about 10 pounds, but these last 10 are extremely stubborn! any input will be appreciated!
