I just read an answer to another question, by a former Muslim.

I am, myself a Christian.

When I read this wonderful answer, it inspired me to ask...

What made you, raised a Muslim~ convert to Christianity?

Please, be as specific with your answer as you can because I don't know much of anything about the Muslim faith, and I just want to know what you heard, saw, felt, read, etc. that made your understanding of the Lord I love and worship, occur for YOU.

I understand the concept of a Christian saying 'blessings' or 'be blessed' or 'bless you'.

But, specifically to those that have no belief system in a god or God... why do you use these terms?

Where are your blessings coming from?

When I impart a blessing, or give a blessing, to a person- it is from me because I want God to bless that person.

That is why it is commonly said... 'God bless you'... because it isnt ME blessing. It is God.

So, if you don't have a god or God... then where do your blessings originate?

((Saying that they originate from yourself is fine...but, isn't 'blessing' someone something that is 'holy'?))

In light of events, that have unfolded in Mexico in the past several years, specifically with Canadians (I mean NO disrespect to others... I am in Canada, that is why I am phrasing it this way- because I don't hear of everything from all countries that have tourists visiting Mexico and their stats.)

Do you feel that Canada's Prime Minster should put some sort of travel advisory (sorry...I may have the title wrong...is he the one that decides... or the minister of foreign affairs??) or boycott on Canadians (for example) to Mexico?

I do.

Too many are being slain, beaten, mugged, jailed and imprisioned for crimes that aren't even committed by them.

I am not a 'green thumb' and I just planted some seeds with my son (homeschooled, he is 9 years old)...

I have Miracle Gro in my 'online store,' which I could use some for my own use...

When should I apply it to the seeds... they are growing so fast without it... I just didn't know if I should wait, because I really, don't know much about this kind of thing.

The seeds were planted on Saturday, and within about a 4-6 hour span... continually (like if I checked them that often)... we can see growth. We were gone for 12 hours today, and they were bigger by about 1/4 inch!! Some, overnight (about 8 hours last night) grew an entire inch... from under the soil... to above and completely one inch tall!!

That is seeds in a homemade, card board box with plastic wrap sides and top... and peat/soil mix in peat formed trays (to plant in the ground later).

Should I use miracle gro now... or later when I transplant them?

What are your feelings on the North American Union?

I am Canadian, Christian... and I don't agree with this union.

I didn't post the question myself, but there was a link to a movie trailer in it, called 'Expelled' and it was about Darwinism vs. Intelligent Design.

The person didn't have anything negative in their post, unless they posted something after I went to check out the trailer.

When I came back, to post that I had saw the trailer, the question was deleted. Did the person posting say something offensive while I was watching the trailer? Or did someone not like the question?

I just wanted to know, because I thought it was really odd that there wasn't anything in th question except a question and a link, that it would be deleted.

Into the scriptures... what are you finding is the most reliable translation?

My personal experience: I have an NIV Thompson Chain Ref. Great for studying, it was just great... until I found that it was missing parts of verses... that the original KJV has.

Scriptures that shouldn't be modified... that are missing important information. (from the NIV to the KJV)

What have you found?

Comments as to why this happens...more than..."it's lost in the translation"...because that isn't what is happening here. This is clearly... missing information... not a translational error.

How much does it cost to start a website like 'ground floor' basics...like "You Tube"...?

I don't want to compete with You Tube... but the website would have personal videos, uploaded...similar to You Tube.

I have a Windows Media Player installed... don't know the version (if you need it, tell me where to find that for you)...

I found that I can get the Smart Media card in my camera (FujiFilm 1.3 mega pix) to work by playing on the Windows Media Player...now, I had asked this question, last night, before I found out that I had the Windows Media Player/and that it would work on there...

My new question is... how can I get it from there (Windows Media Player) to the hard drive?

Here is the thing... when I burn CD's on my computer, I cannot burn DVD's (would this type of file, need to be a DVD?)

AND am I able to save it on the hard drive to compile it all on to one CD (like multiple small recordings)...because my CDs (blanks)aren't re-recordable...so I would waste one, each time, for like a 20 second clip!!

Hi. I use my digital camera and know how to upload my pictures, but how do I get my video's from the card to play?

I am not hugely computer literate...so please be clear with your instructions.

I have a Windows XP Dell Computer. I have a CD burner and DVD drive (not burner)... I don't know much else...but can get you more info. if you need it.

I have a 1.3 MegaPixel Camera...Fuji Film. The card, is a 'Smart Media' type. (Yes... I know... it is older...but it still works)...

How do I get the video from the card (smart media) to play on my computer.

I have a Smart Media Centrios Drive (Drive:F I believe) and that is how I load it for my photographs...

But...I can't find a program...and it doesn't seem to automatically play...so... what do I need to do?

Why do atheists hang out in Relgion /Spirituality if they don't believe in anything?

Wouldn't they want to be with the same kinds of people, talking about what they talk about...

Or... what?

FYI: I am not suggesting that the Atheists aren't welcome to use a public forum... that isn't my reasoning. I am saying... that if a group doesn't believe certain things, then what is the point in hanging out in a forum that is contrary to their own belief system.

Example: I have no reason to hang out in the Sports categories, I don't play sports or watch them on TV. My participation and watching sports... or lack there of...I can't add anything to the coversation. NOW... I can learn something... but I don't even know the questions to ask there. ALSO I just don't have a reason to ask.

SO... Why do Atheists hang out in a public forum, intended for Religious and Spiritual conversations if the don't believe in this kind of thing?

Would you be considered a heretic? AND if so... is it wrong to be a heretic? (in your opinion.)

Do these scriptures sound like the people that are targetting Christians tonight, to get us all 'riled up' or attempting to 'get our goat'... like really?

I want to know a couple of things.

1. What do the people that start these 'debate' actually get out of it?

2. Do fellow believers feel like the atheists on Yahoo, are really just hanging around to see if something happens, they can jump on the band wagon and be part of it, because deep down...they really know that something bigger than themselves created the universe and has a master plan?

3. Do the passages I gave, sound like the people today are like the Pharases then?
