I have had two sets of crown foils done on my hair in the past year. My hair is medium brown and the foil are blonde. It is severly growing out now about 1" from the scalp. I am in desperate need to do something, yet, can't afford to go back in for foils right now. I know box dye's are not hte best thing to use, but, if I were to dye my whole head blonde, what can I expect for the results. What colour should I use or what are my other alternatives?

Going to a work Christmas party. I have a very PLAIN strappy purple cocktail dress. I have the traditional black shoes etc, I would like to POW it up with accessories (not scarves please) but what colour shoes and accessories would work well with purple? Or should I just get a new dress??

My huband of 1 yr and I have been having a little difficulty as of late.

We are both the same horoscope sign, very similar in personalities and our lives are very parallel.

During our last argument we both said things we regret. We are both having a difficult time getting over the things we said to each other. Normally our lives together are great but when we argue, it's bad. Too much alike that way. Now it feels like both of us are waiting for the other to break the ice. I know its silly, I would do it, but I don't know how to without feeling like I'm sick.

By the way we never swear or call each other names, but we do have our way of being negative and nasty.

I love him and I just want to feel close to him again.

Any suggestions on how to resolve our situation?

My husband and I have been married only a short time. We love each other entirely. Our problem lies with our children, we both have children from prior marriages and I do not get along with one of his and he does not get along with one of mine.

The problem I am facing is I feel that we should make a united front with the children. Put each other as partners first, then the kids. I have been doing this, but he cannot. He sees his children every other weekend (typical scenario) and feels he has to be mister nice guy and lets them walk all over him. I have tried to step in and place myself in a role of control over the kids. I have been told now that I am to keep my mouth shut, do not disturb them, keep them happy, etc etc etc.

What do I do? I have been stripped of any relationship possible now with his children.

My daughter lost all of her hair two years ago. Before she lost her hair it was straight. Now, it has come back OMG!!CURLY! I mean REALLY CURLLY! She hates it, it's foreign to her. She's 13 and is looking to find a style that would go well with curly hair. Her hair is not yet very long. It's not growing long but growing out. Any ideas?

our basement. We are helping out a friend that is older (mid 70's) till he gets on his feet. There is no access between units. Can she revoke his access to his children? This old man is completely innocent and sweet. She is abnormally fearful of lots of things and is now transgressing them toward the children. How can my fiance protect his rights?

I asked her a yr ago. She accepted. At the time she was married. Now she isn't and has a new man in her life. She is trying to get pregnant. If she succeeds she'll be 7 mos at the time of my wedding. I am happy for her, but, neither one of us will be comfortable with her being there. How do I express this to her?
