  • DVD/VCR combo - VCR won't work properly?

So I just got a DVD/VCR combo and tried hooking it up to my tv with an AV cable. The DVD player works just fine and the VCR will play sound, but the picture is not coming through. I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this. I was thinking maybe an s-video cable?

  • Help recovering deleted emails?

Does anyone know if there is a way to recover an email deleted from the spam folder on yahoo mail? I accidentally deleted something I think might have been important, and I looked but it's not in my trash folder. I'm assuming it's gone forever, but I don't know if there's some secret to it maybe? I'm hoping there is =( Any computer geniuses out there??

  • Any advice on night time potty training?

I have a 3y old son and a 5y old daughter. Both are very well potty trained during the day and have been for a long time now. My issue is night time potty training. Neither of them have ever woken up at night to go, I still keep them both in diapers at night and both are still wet in the morning even when I keep liquids from them before bed. I just don't know where to even start when it comes to night time potty training. Will it just come naturally for them and they will learn on their own? Do I start putting them to bed without a diaper and let them learn by wetting the bed? Do I wake them up every couple hours to go? I guess I'm looking for tips/ideas based on how you all did this with your own children and what seemed to work. Thanks in advance =)

  • How long does a guy usually wait before calling?

So I went out with this guy last night (blind date). Went to the bar, watched the football game, then went back to his place to watch a movie. I left around 1am, texted him to let him know I was home and that I had a good time. He didn't answer, but I assumed he had just fallen asleep as he was pretty tired when I left. Whole day goes by still no text or anything, wasn't necessarily expecting one though as the last thing I said was the text lettin him know I was home. Anyway, he seemed like he was having a good time and like he liked me last night. I was just wondering how long most guys usually wait before calling/texting after a date. I think I like this guy and now I'm kinda worried he's not gonna call, but I don't wanna be THAT girl that's ALWAYS texting.

  • What do you call the TV remote?

So I know there are so many different names for it (clicker, remote, channel changer...) but in my family we have always called it the TV box. I have never met anyone who calls it that and everyone I know who's heard me say that is always like wtf? Lol. So I just have to ask am I the only person in the world (aside from my parents) who calls it a TV box?

  • Ants don't seem attracted to ant baits?

I have ants in my apartment and I tried first killing them by spraying. After a few times of spraying they still wouldn't go away so now I'm thinking the nest is under the building. So a few days ago I went and bought some ant baits to kill the colony. I bought 2 different kinds and 2 days later the ants still don't seem very interested in either kind. The only way I could get them to go into the bait was to put a piece of food right next to it to lure them out and even then only a couple went inside...
