Little backstory: I got a job as a security card almost 3 months ago. I went to non paid training for 2 days anD 1 day of paod training where I was given my uniform. I was supposed to start a couple days after because I was still waiting on my pants. A couple days past and no one called me, i kept trying to call the person in charge of the uniforns but he would never answer or call me back. I ended up getting a call from my "leader" asking in a very rude manner why I didn t pick up my pants yet, they had been ready for days and saying that I wasted time we could of had training more.

At that point I was livid and decided to go with another job instead. Never received my check for hours of paid training. I threw the uniform away because I had no use for it.

I got a letter yesterday saying that i needed to turn in the uniform or they will be contacting law enforcement. What could law enforcement do?

I am currently pregnant and receiving food stamps and Medicaid. The father of my child will be moving in with me before the baby arrives. Our income together is still low and I would have to keep government assistance unfortunately. Since I have food stamps and Medicaid Will they make him pay child support even if we live together?

I was in a car wreck at no fault of my own. The other person s insurance company did an estimate of my vehicle and we are waiting to hear on when I will receive my check. The issue is only cosmetic. Can I keep the money instead of using it to pay for repairs or is that considered insurance fraud? I live in Tennessee of that matters.

We had to take her to the ER vet tonight because she cut her upper paw area. They had to sedate, cut , and give her stiches. It is now wrapped in a bandage and I am wondering for the 10 to 14 days she has to wear the cone on her head to keep from picking or biting it should I keep the bandage on as well or remove it after a certain number of days. They did not give us those instructions and we forgot to ask.

I am 6 months into my lease. I have a townhouse apartment that directly faces the sun. This past week I have noticed that it has taken the air conditioner a while to drop down to 73 -75 degrees. I have tried numerous ways to keep the heat out, such as blackout curtains, fans, and waiting until it gets a little cooler out to do any cooking with my gas stove or laundry. I have sent in a maintenance form to my landlord and they should be coming out tomorrow but I am afraid that it is going to take a while for them to fix anything if anything Can be fixed.

Also, as a tenant would I have any rights if they refuse to fix/cannot fix the problem? I know it is most likely the insulation to the apartment because in the winter is is freezing.

4 days ago I moved into a smaller location that doesn't have a fenced in yard like my previous home. The 2 days I would only bring my dogs over in the evening so they could adjust to the new house and then bring them back to my previous home in the morning. They both did fine using the bathroom those 2 nights, but yesterday and today they have been very odd about it. My smaller dog has not pooped all day and the other one is peeing inside now. I am positive that they are just nervous about moving locations but I guess I am just wondering when I should begin worrying Or calling the vet.

I am getting a job at a local factory in my area for the season and I am unsure of what shift I should take.. they are 11 hour shifts with two 30 minute breaks. I am planning on doing the weekend shift Friday-Monday. My question is why do some many people say 3rd shift is awful? I know I am probably not going to do the 2nd shift because most of my day will be gone and I need some time during the day to run errands. Which shift (1st or 3rd) would you recommend?

I have a 50" Plasma Dell TV that I need to get rid of. It stopped working a couple weeks ago and when I called around most people said it was either a bulb or a fuse. I do not have the patience or money to get it fixed so I would like to sell it if I can. I know nothing about tv's and what they run for or if broken tv's are even sellable lol. Please help! It is a Dell W5001C.

I am planning on moving out of my house soon. Right now I am renting a really big house with a yard that is just too much for one person to live in. I am planning on moving into a townhouse apartment and have already made a decision on which one it will be. The problem is that I have 2 dogs and the apartments have a weight limit on pets. When I went the first time they told me its was 40 pounds, but on the website and application it says 35. My smaller dog weighs only 38 but my bigger one weighs around 45-50. So my question is if I tell them that they meet the weight limit and they do not ask to see the dogs, would I be okay down the road when they see that she may be over 40 pounds. I know this may seem odd, but I really do not think they care about the weight just the breed. But I want to take precautions just in case. If you have any "HELPFUL" advice I would love to hear it. Here is some background story. My sister and I decided to move into a house together 4 years ago. Things did not work out because she lost her job and could not pay the bills. so she had to move out. I have lived in the house since then. Back in July o this year we decided that we would give it another try because she has a stable income and I thought it would help both of us. So a month or two had passed. She is constantly skipping work, She never cleans and she has company over ALL OF THE TIME. I never say anything to her because it is not my place and she pays her bills... so far.

So the thing is, I found another place that I love and I am planning on moving in January or February Of 2015. I know for a fact that I will be moving out but I have no idea how to tell her. I want her to keep the house because it is a great home for her and her two kids, but I do not know if she can afford it alone and I am not sure if she can find another roommate. So how do I tell her in a way that will not make her angry at me to the point where she does not speak with me. I know she will be frustrated, but I need to do my own thing and I want her to understand that. Please Help!

BACKGROUND: My sister moved in about 3 months ago. We split all the bills and they have just as much right in my house as I do even though she is not on the lease. I did make it a point (before she moved in) that I did not want the father of her child to enter the premises of the home at ANY point. He has a criminal background and I believe she has an Order of Protection on him but does not abide by it. I do not trust him at all. She agreed to these terms at first, but now she is asking if he can stay over some nights. Everytime I eat or drink anything (even water) my chest right below my right breast gets a sharp pain. It only happens when I have swallow or take a deep breath. Is there anything I can do to help with the pain. I don't think it is too severe to go to the hospital.

I have an Acer aspire laptop and the other day I decided it was time to reboot my laptop to clean it up since it was full of useless apps and it was going too slow. After it was finished my computer turned on as normal, went to the starting windows screen and then went to a black screen that says setup is starting services and then a box pops up that says " Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows on this computer, restart the installation." My computer came with windows on it and no discs were with it. Is there anything I can do to fix it?
