Growing up, I always heard dinner called the meal during the day, and supper was in the evening. But I've also heard the daytime meal called lunch with the evening meal referred to as dinner. Which is correct?

I have building up points on my credit card and have enough to cover a basic ticket. I would like to upgrade to a better ticket if possible. I don't mind paying the difference out of pocket to make up the difference after my points are applied, but is that even possible? Or can I only purchase a ticket my points cover completely?

I was talking to a guy I work with about the stimulus checks we're getting and he said to use it wisely now because it's the social security money we won't have later. Is that true?

Will they be available as soon as the current season ends, or will it be next year when the new season starts?

I used to move the pictures off my phone to my laptop and they would be grouped together in a folder in the Photos program. Now after an update to the laptop, they only import as individual pictures instead of being grouped together. How can I get back to them importing into a folder?

Personally, I think it's ridiculous to think a federal minimum wage hike this drastic would have a good outcome. But, today I read an article claiming $15 has been good for Seattle. People who are there, is that true?

I'm making a book for my child and want to make simple little figures on each page. Because my hands are disabled, drawing is not an option and the paint-it program doesn't work very well for what I'm doing. I'm perfectly willing to add a new program to make this work, but don't know what to use. Anybody have a good suggestion?

I suppose two things I should mention right away are that I can't draw, and I'm extremely cheap. I intend to publish my book for free on KDP, but I don't know how to do the pictures

Everyone seems to accept it without question, but I don't see it. I'm middle class and my life isn't changing. None of the people I know are having a change in their situation. I'll believe that some people are being affected, but it looks to me like a classic manuver of selling the voting public on the idea that what applies to some actually applies to everyone.

I don't think we really want this, it seems like it would only be good for some people

Aren't they supposed to concentrate on reporting what's going on in the world instead of bashing each other?

I just got Roku and about to get rid of cable. I added the Bravo channel to my home screen, but can't find how much it would be to subscribe to it.

Years ago, an English teacher told me to never start writing a story with those words. But, I don't remember the reason she gave. I can't find this advice anywhere else, but I've read many books that do start with those two words. So, was the advice wrong?

I hear a lot about how trickle down economics has widened the gap in wealth inequality, and therefore is a failure that was bad for all of us - but I'm not so sure. It did widen the gap between the rich and poor, but I don't think getting rid of tax breaks for corporations is the simple fix a lot of people seem to think it is. I get it would work in theory, if things were perfect. But, it's putting a lot of faith in the super rich business owners to stay in this country instead of saying 'f@#& you USA, I'm going somewhere cheaper'. Maybe they would stay - but I doubt it. If they were to leave, that wouldn't help us. Is narrowing economic inequality a good thing if it means everyone has to sink to a lower level to achieve it?

Officer? Law Officer? Patrol Officer? Cop? Policewoman? Patrolwoman? Nothing seems quite right to me.

I have always printed photos at Walmart and been happy with them. Now I would like to get a printer so I could do it at home instead but I don't know what printer to get. I bought one that said it was good at printing photos, but it's not really. They don't come out nearly as good as the ones at Walmart. So now I'm going to try again, but I don't want to waste my money this time. Any suggestions?
