I’ve always been told that throughout my childhood and adolescence, and even in my young adulthood, to watch my mouth because one day I will say something to the wrong person and regret it, what does that even mean? 

I was At the range with my girlfriend and her dad, and she was shooting my 12 gauge, I told her to hold her fire so I could take off my earring protection so I could fix them, they were a bit too tight, of course she didn’t listen and fired right as I took them off, it was only one shot and I was about 10 feet away, should I be fine 

I just turned 18, I’ve shot plenty of guns before and I come from a big gun family. I really want my own gun, either an ar or a 12gauge. I’ve talked to my dad about it, while he wants me to exercise my Second Amendment rights. Not surprising, my dad loves guns and is extremely pro 2A, then he also said he will not let me bring a weapon into his house until I can prove I can handle it and am responsible enough.  He didn’t give me any description beyond that. Once I do,he’ll gladly let me get a gun. Do you agree with him, what can I do to show him. 

My dad got In trouble because he asked out what he was told was 14 year old girl on some dating app, and he wanted to pick her up and take her to get coffee, her dad called the cops and now he’s under investigation, he did nothing wrong, it’s not illegal to take someone out for coffee. He could go to jail for doing nothing wrong, it’s not like he asked her for sex. Yet I get made fun of cause my dads being persecuted, this could affect me big time. How do I stop this

My younger brother is 15 and recently I found tects on his phone wanting to meet up with this creep, and this guy says he wants to meet him in the park and he’ll pick him up in his Jeep, and they’ll “get to know each other” and he has all kinds of ideas of things they could do. My mom wants to keep an eye on my brothers social media and phone activity, so she has me go through his phone since she’s technology illiterate. This is when I found the texts. We called the police after this, and they said technically simply meeting a minor over the age of 14 isn’t illegal, unless it’s for sexual purposes. Does any of this seem alright to you. 

I’m at my friends house and I’ve had 11 beers, I weigh 139 pounds for reference. I drive a Jeep Wrangler so it’s technically not a car, so I don’t think drunk driving is something they can charge me with, since it’s technically not a car
