so I have a bagon and I was ev training it in attack. I got 28 evs on it before realizing that I forgot to use my 10 proteins to boost it to 100 at the start. it let me use 8 of them, and I know you cant use any more if the evs are already to 100 or more, so my question is, do I now have 100 EVs, or 108 of them?

My emerald has a dry internal battery, so I linked it up with my leafgreen, and I held down B and select on leafgreen, and followed all of the instructions that I was told to do. When my emerald made the little chime sound at the gameboy home screen and the Nintendo logo was cut off, like it was supposed to, it still has a dry internal battery. Help?
