I remember back in the days a few years ago, I could find almost anything I was looking for in google searches, no matter what.

Now its become incredibly difficult to find any specifics about anything at all.

I was wondering if anyone has had some good experiences when searching using another search provider.

Privacy is not my focus.

I just want to find what I'm looking for, that's it. I don't care, it can be private or not. I just want a site that will find me the specific information I'm looking for . . . like google used to do a few years ago.

All the games I like want to require Steam now.

It's soooooo freaking frustrating. From errors during updating to how many times I have to reinstall steam and reinstall whole games, it's freaking ridiculous.

Haha, I'll tell you, paying a premium for frustration is really something.

Nothing encourages me more to take the piracy route than all these things.

Remember back in the day when making a game work simply meant having the appropriate hardware, OS, and making sure you're using the proper sound settings?

Oh, to be back in those days, not having to deal with a bunch of crap bloatware like Steam.

Not even GOG is this bad, and they actually alter their games with modifications like ScumVM and Dosbox, entirely changing the execution of the game, and not even providing a core copy of it.

I tried chkdsk, but it finishes way too fast, which leads me to believe it's only for checking the data-area for errors. I need something that will scan the entire disk for physical errors, maybe even perhaps something that does write/read tests.

I'm asking because these new things in Moscow portraying Obama as eating a banana, and having I guess a monkey-face. The report didn't really show a monkey Obama face, just a cartoonish elongated face.

Anyhow, we're being instructed to believe that Moscow meant it as a racist remark, but presidents are called monkey, obviously irrespective of their skin-color, so why is it the left is assuming racism then?

It seems kind of silly that sense Obama happens to be half African, that the left would just assume that any insults that insinuate he's a monkey would be racist.

I need a pet bed that one can attest to that stays cool for their pet even when it gets 100 degrees inside of their home. I have to go to school, and I don't want to leave the AC on all day, so I am thinking that I can buy a gel or other liquid pet bed that I can freeze, but will stay cool for at least several hours till the sun goes down.

I was hoping someone could tell me of such a pet bed.
