  • Can i get my bow the way i need it?

I won a bow at a company picnic, and I want to give it to my fiancee because she's shown a real interest in archery. The problem is, since I won the bow, I was locked into the bow being 60-70 lb. Draw off the get go. Now, obviously, I can take the bow to any bow shop and they could get it at 60 lb. in, like, seconds. (They could also answer my question in seconds too, but they're closed right now.) My real question is: Can I get the draw weight significantly lower than 60 pounds, like say 40? And can that be achieved while simultaneously shortening the draw length? The bow is a Martin Threshold if that's any help.

  • I have a question about the theory of global warming.?

I want to know how you can justify the thought that humans are the only causes of global warming. I want to be clear that the greenhouse effect and global warming are two separate theories. That being said, has nobody considered that there have been several periods of significant heating and cooling throughout the measurable history of the planet? Are we all really ignoring the fact that this planet has changed constantly, albeit slowly, throughout it's entire existence? Do people really think that the earth has remained unchanged since it was formed? How can you just ignore the fact that all of nature is in a constant state of change, and simply assume that it's all caused by humans?

  • transmission problem in '99 F350 Powerstroke?

Need some help to identify the possible causes of some strange symptoms. My truck will engage reverse and drive backwards just fine, but when I shift into Drive, it won't engage at all. the best it will do is act like it maybe wants to creep forward just slightly, and that's it. The night before it crapped out completely, it wouldn't engage at idle RPM, but it would seem to "catch" with just a little throttle, and then drive normally. Before that, I had no problems at all. I really need some help on this one. Please answer if you've had or fixed this problem before!
