  • Why would the price increase?

The price of chocolate candy bars rises. This could be due to:

    A. A decrease in the cost of chocolate, which is used to produce candy bars.

    B. A subsidy by the federal government for the producers of chocolate candy bars.

    C. A decrease in the wage rate paid to workers in the candy bar factories.

    D. A decrease in the number of chocolate candy bar producers.

    I think it's D. Is it?

  • How can I unhide a folder?

I hid a folder (the folder, subfolders and files) by mistake, thinking that I actually clicked the option to VIEW the hidden subfolders and files. I searched for the folder and found it, but now when I right-click on the folder and click Properties, the Hidden box is unchecked! Why is it still invisible, then? How can I unhide it?

And how can I make hidden subfolders and files visible?

I'm not sure about the way this question has been phrased... There seems to be something wrong.

"Is art the eye cannot see any less potent than that which it can?"

    What does this mean?

  • How can I help my Indian ringneck parrot?

I have an African grey, and I was sitting next to her last night. She was in her cage. My ever-jealous Indian ringneck came running to her cage, and before I realised, he put his face through the holes in her cage to bite her. The African grey had already stepped off her perch... They started fighting... and just as I was about to separate them, the African grey bit him hard... He squawked very loudly and started jumping all over. And he was bleeding... I saw two columns of blood falling from the underside of his beak, but just hanging in the air... I used tissue to wipe all the blood from there. A few minutes later he was caught and this very small hard thing hanging from the underside of his beak was pulled out. That was the source of the blood. After wiping that area with tissue, the blood stopped flowing. He can talk, walk, run, fly and even climb, but he can't bite. I gave him sunflower seeds and other seeds... a small piece of cucumber and soft bread, but he just can't eat anything. He tries to eat, but ends up keeping the food in his mouth for a long time. However, I just gave him soft bread soaked in water, and he ate a lot of that with ease.

I don't think I can take him to the vet until tomorrow... I don't have any transport available, and the veterinary clinic will close soon. What are other soft foods that I can give him? Will he have to eat soft foods for the rest of his life? His beak is perfectly okay, but this thing on the left side of his beak, under his beak, looks damaged... Do I need to worry?

I want to cry... Please help! :'(

  • Can somebody assure me that a terrible exam that will cause my CGPA to plummet is not the end of the world?

My upcoming exams (starting tomorrow) will be much harder... and I don't think I will do well in them either. I will do my best, though. :(

I'm still frustrated about yesterday's exam... but I have managed to kinda forget about it and not let it effect me.

  • If x1, x2, ... , xn are independently distributed as Exp (theta), how can I prove the following?

    1) Prove that x bar (mean) is an unbiased estimator of theta.

    2) Find Var (x bar).

    f(x) = (1/theta) * e^(-x / theta), x > 0

    = 0, otherwise.
