We plan to ask a neighborhood teen to feed our cats while we are away. What $'s are folks paying for that?
We are in New Jersey. We ask that they put out food twice a day and perhaps play with the cats a little. How much per day are folks normally paid for this?
10 AnswersCats1 decade agoHow best to sell a 67 Thunderbird Probably for Parts?
We have a '67 Thunderbird. Has been garaged for last 20 years, but does have some body rust from previous years. Not running. Hate to sell just for scrap because I know that there are folks looking for parts. On the other hand I don't have the time/ability to part it out myself. Anyone have any ideas? Ebay motors doesn't seem the right place and craigslist doesn't seem to have many listings like this either.
3 AnswersBuying & Selling1 decade agoHelp with an OLD Sesame Street selection - about a radish?
Does anyone remember a Sesame Street skit that included someone (I think cookie monster) saying "It's a raaaah-dish" ?
I'm not referring to Fraggle Rock (which had lots of radish stuff). And this would be old, like early 70's vintage (when my little sister watched). Help would be appreciated. Thank you.
1 AnswerOther - Television1 decade agoHow should we blow out candles for a birthday in a no candles dorm?
My son is living in a dorm with a strict no candles policy. $100 fine per candle. His birthday is coming up and we want to celebrate with his friends in the dorm. Has anyone else faced the dilemma of how to blow out the candles when there are no candles? What have you substituted? (Keep it clean please - this is a mom here). We can't go out because of time limitations (long story).
12 AnswersEntertaining1 decade agoAny hints on finding kittens momcat probably moved?
Several weeks ago my husband went into the garage and found two kittens, very hungry (garage door had been closed). We fed them with KMR and they did well. The next day our neighbor brought over 3 more from under his porch. Same coloring, roughly same size (4 weeks). We took care of them all in the garage; momcat found them and was also caring for them. This went on for 2 weeks and one morning we came out and only 1 kitten was left. Two hours later that one was gone too. No sign of any struggle/blood etc. We think mom probably moved them. Mom and Dad are still coming by most nights to be fed, but no sign of the 5 kittens. We've tried following momcat with no luck. Anyone have any hints for finding the kittens? We want to take them in to get shots and eventually neuter them all but don't want to do anything while mom may still be nursing.
