What HCG levels are considered normal at 5.5 weeks?
My first blood test at 4 weeks after LMP showed my HCG levels were at 649. I went to the hospital 10 days later for stomach cramps and spotting (everything turned out to be just fine) and they took a blood test that showed my levels are at 34,423 at 5.5 weeks after LMP. I've been looking online and there is not one direct answer, and all of them are much lower than mine. It might be a silly question but are Canadian measurements for HCG different? I'm very confused as to why most women are in the 1000's at this stage of pregnancy.
