  • I’ve seen hundreds of questions about tipping....but is tipping mandatory? Can you be arrested for not tipping?

If your excuse to tip is that the servers don’t get paid well...then why doesn’t the server go get a better paying job?

  • Why is my TV suddenly speaking Spanish?

We have Charter cable tv in the house, and I ran an extension out to my camper a few years ago. It has worked fine until a few weeks ago all of a sudden a few of the stations are in Spanish. I know it sounds crazy, but it will be English in the house, but Spanish in the camper. Some shows will have the background music, but no audible speaking at all. some shows have video, but no audio. I'm wondering if this is a cable problem or a VCR problem.

  • Why does my Jeep die at stop lights?

Actually, not just stop lights. Also stop signs, or really anytime I slow down. The quicker I have to slow down the more likely it is to die. I've adjusted everything I know to adjust on the carburetor, but nothing is working. I've run the idle screws, and the choke adjustments all the way in and out. Nothing works. Why does it die when I come to a stop?

    PS - it's a 1985 CJ-7 with a 250 straight six.

  • Do you return to read other people's answers?

I try to take my time in order to give an intelligent answer, so I'm usually one of the last ones to answer. And I always enjoy reading all the answers before me. I was just wondering if you ever return to read the answers that appear after you've already answered.

  • Should I leave a normal tip if I eat from the food bar?

If I carry my plate to the food bar, load it up, carry it back to my table, and repeat the process for dessert, should I leave a 10% tip if all the waitress does is refill my drink?
