The Joy Massacre

I listen to a lot of music. Most of it is grunge and post-grunge, 80's "britgoth", some darkwave, and a lot of alternative rock. I've always managed to skirt my way around metal. I understand there are a LOT of genres, and I think that's what intimidates me.

I'm guessing I would like gothic or doom metal, judging by some of the bands I listen to. A friend of mine just introduced me to My Dying Bride, and I've always loved Type O Negative (though they've never really struck me as being all that metal-y). I guess what I'm really asking for is a "metal correspondent." Help? :)

I'm trying to make a summer playlist! This extends to any and all genres, decades, etc. I've got a few so far, but I want to burn a couple CDs, and I don't have enough yet. Thanks!

I realize a wig would be the better option, but when you're a poor college student, you can't afford cosplay wigs! Haha. Any suggestions on how to get my hair to look like hers would be fantastic.

So far, I've got: spray-in red hair dye, some hardcore gel, and a lot of plans for teasing and hairspray.

My hair is dark, relatively long, it goes about halfway down my back, and it's also very thick. (I don't know if that information helps or not.. but I tried.)

I am a music junkie. Glutton. Fanatic. Tycoon. I could go on and on. I can go from listening to GWAR to Michael Jackson to Bollywood music to Nirvana. To put it simply, my love is extensive. And is probably more than borderline obsession..

So, here is my problem. I am a poor college-student-to-be... :( And I love accumulating CDs, but I don't have the money to pay for brand-new CDs and I don't want to disrespect the artists by trying to rip them off the internet. So, for months at a time I just sit in front of YouTube and Pandora.

What I need to know, is if anyone knows about a site, I'm already familiar with like, Amazon, for example, that sells CDs, either new or "well-loved" for poor college student worthy prices. Shipping is a pain in the rear, but, see what you can do with that too, please.

ANY results at ALL would be marvelous.

this is what my hair looks like without styling or product - simply air dried.

i'm a little bored with it. i think i like the length, though it does need trimmed at the ends.

i was wondering if anyone had suggestions for bangs or anything unique i could do to it? i've had the side bangs, across the forehead bangs, and i was thinking about perhaps putting red highlights in in again. i had them a few years ago.

i'm into edgy looks, so outrageous ideas are MORE than welcome!

if you want to make suggestions on styling, go right ahead as well! i do straighten my hair from time to time.

Just preparing to take the SAT for the second time, this year as a senior, hoping to improve my score.

I have the Princeton Review book for this year, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any particularly useful online tools or other books that you find especially effective? I would say that for the most part, I'm very adequate with what I'm doing, but I need more help with the Math than I do with the Writing/Literature parts.

Any advice at all would be helpful. Oh, and if you want to go the extra mile, I'd like some assistance with my time management in my Prep Schedule. I'm usually a huuuge procrastinator, but, as I will be going to college next year, I want to improve this, and once I find some useful tools I will need to plan a study schedule!!!

going to dinner with a bunch of my friends before prom...

i don't want to eat anything with too large of a portion, anything that would seem gawdy to be eating in a gown, or offensive to anyone sitting around me or hanging out with me at prom (i'm guessing to stay away from onions then haha. sadly.).

price isn't a big deal, so, i'm not worried about that.

i also don't want to get sick while i'm dancing like a maniac, haha!
