I bought a stove from Home Depot a couple of weeks ago and when they came to deliver found that the old one was hardwired. So they denied installation and wanted me to install a 3 prong plug before they can install the new one.

The range already has a slot in the panel and is connected so that s not a cost concern. Currently got 3 different quotes from electrician companies with good reviews. 1st $150, 2nd $110, and 3rd $250. Oddly enough I tried calling ones without reviews for a quote and none of them answered their phones. I m just not sure how much this should cost and if I should go with paying more for better quality or if I am just being overcharged.
