I downloaded the demo of Wings of Prey but find that the menu is in russian which I don't understand

how can I change it back to english?

I don't know how to use this function.

What is the default keyboard map for this?

I recently upgraded my 8800GTS 320MB to a 4870 1GB from HIS with an iCooler x3.

Previously, my 8800GTS never gave me cause for concern about temperature.

But since I got the 4870 1GB, I noticed that my Coolermaster Centurion 5 casing seems to heat up quite a bit.

It's not TOO HOT TO TOUCH but definitely in the uncomfortable range.

Checking the catalyst control centre, my GPU seems to be running at 65-75C after gaming for 15 minutes.

My questions are:

1) Should I be worried about these temperatures?

2) Will the temperature harm my other PC components?

3) What do you recommend I do to lower temperatures?

For now, I have taken to having a fan blow directly into the front of the casing, to help the 120mm fan inside expel the hot air.

Oh yes, would a stock Q6600@2.4Ghz be severly limiting the power of the HD Radeon 5850?? Any bottlenecks to performance?

I been hearing conflicting views. Some people say a 500W PSU is more than enough but others say you need minimum 550W and others 600W.

I am kinda confused.

My 667Mhz RAM has been giving me some problems recently. Instead of the tedious work of running memtest (i'm a noob, see) to isolate which stick of RAM has failed, I decided it's quite a good time to upgrade my RAM to faster speeds to upgrade PC and gameplay.

I am using the Intel Media Series P35 DP35DP Motherboard. In checking the website here, http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/DP35DP/c... it tells me that

1) FSB Support is 800/1066/1333Mhz

2) Memory Frequency is Dual Channel DDR2 800/667Mhz

What does this mean? Does this mean I can only buy the maximum speed of 800Mhz RAM because I was kinda hoping I could get the faster 1066Mhz.

I have decided its about time to upgrade my 2.5 year old Nvidia 8800GTS 320MB grpahics card to extend the mileage of my gaming PC for another 3 years, plus minus.

Specs for my PC are:

1) Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600@2.4Ghz

2) Intel P35 DP35DP Media Series Motherboard

3) Windows XP Professional SP3

4) Kingston ValuRam 3GB DDR2 667Mhz

5) Power Supply Silverstone 500W (High Efficiency)

6) 500GB 3.5" HDD (x1)

Based on the fact that these components are at least 2 years old, my primary concerns would be whether the newer graphics card be compatible and whether 500W is enough?

I am specifically looking at the GTX250, GTX260, GTX275 and ATI 4870.

If these cards are not possible based on my configurations, could you all please suggest a card that gives me the best performance, without being bottlenecked by any of my old components?

I recently made some backups of game discs that I bought. I downloaded the CD cover art and am thinking now of the best way to paste them onto the CD without causing problems to the machine when the disc is being read.

What type of glue should I use? What type of paper should I print on? Should I cut the CD cover art in such a way that there is at least a 1mm (or equivalent) gap at the edges of the CD?

When I began the game, the character keeps looking upwards. When I invert the y-look, the character now starts looking down.

When i try to use the mouse to control, the character will always end up either looking up or down.

How can I rectify this? nothing seems to help

The middle nose piece between the two lenses have come loose and my lenses are no longer firmly in place. Upon closer inspection, it doesnt seem that the lenses will 'fall' off.

I asked Oakley if I had to replace the gasket and they quoted me a price for it.

I just want to know whether it's absolutely necessary for me to spend $ to replace it if there's no chance the lenses will ever fall off.

Any of you faced the same situation with your Oakley Juliets?

I've heard all about the dangers of placing sensitive electrical components near magnetically unsheilded devices.

I am building a PC soon and I need a place to set my tower casing. I dont want my investment to be screwed up by rogue magnetic waves. I've checked and my satellites for the speaker system is sheilded but the subwoofer is not.

So can I place the tower by the subwoofer? If not what is the minimum distance?

I am thinking of getting an entry level gaming rig and though i really want a core 2 duo chip, I think price might be a factor.

Therefore, I decided that perhaps I might have to get an older generation AMD 4600+ chip (as mentioned in my earlier question) but have a more powerful graphics card.

I thus need to know whether can old mother boards support new generation cards. As long as its PCi Express shouldnt be a problem right?

Perhaps all is not lost. Should I use a i965 board or can a i945 mobo suffice? Cause if a i945 mobo is workable, I might be able to afford a c2d chip after all!

But i heard that i945 chips have lower performance than the i965 mobos...
