I am a recent stay at home dad with my 3 month old. I love playing with him but after 9 hours its a little exhausting. I am wondering if anyone has any good ideas for keeping him entertained. Me making faces at him gets old after a little while. I don't like to have him in his swing for more then 30 minutes, and his bouncer doesn't quite fit him yet so he gets bored after about 15 minutes. We do "tummy time" for 10 minutes, and watch baby einstein for about 30 minutes. I just want some more ideas to keep him entertained. I feel bad when he is just laying there. I used to take him to the park quite a bit but I gave my wife the car so she could get to work. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. No mean comments please.

How do I go about getting these W2's?

So I started a new job as a plumber on July 17th. After my thirty days I got a 2.00 an hour raise and told I was next in line for apprenticeship school. Anyway, I got hurt on the job and had to file workmans comp for a knee injury. (not a serious injury) It just required a little recovery time and some physical therapy. I took off work starting Sept. 4th. Well, Today after I got back from the doctor I called my manager to check in, and he said that he was sorry but he had to let me go. He said that the workload has (coincidently) dropped off and there was no need to keep me on. I was told that your job could not fire you for a workmans comp issue. I am wondering if anyone has been in this situation? What did you do? I know he says the workload has decrease but he just gave me a 2.00 an hour raise 3 weeks ago. That doesn't say to me that he was planning on letting me go. Can I fight it? Who should I contact? ie; BBB, or Wage an hour?

About a year ago, a baby crow fell out of a tree and was disabled. We had decided that something had to be done and so we gathered it up and brought it into the house. We tried for 2 days to nurse it back to health.....actually, more like tried to keep it alive. We were unsuccessful and so we took it to the audubon society to see if they could help.

Because of the extent of the injuries, the bird had to be put to sleep....sadly.

Now while the bird was at our home, we had two crows sitting in the backyard squawking at us constantly. I am assuming that these were the parents. They did not stop until a few days went by.

I work across the street from where I live and I work on a second story next to a window. Recently this bird follows me to work, and even sits outside my work window screaming at me. He will leave but always returns and sometimes with his wife (apparently they mate for life). Could these be the same crows? I know they have excellent memory. Please post serious answers

Just because its offending other nationalities who move here. If people move here, thats great that they have their own religion or traditions, but why try and fight whats been in place for centuries?

SIDE NOTE: I love this forum and I personally am thankful for all of those people who take time to help myself and others with our computer problems. I know how scary it is to have some unknown error, and think "my comp is dead". Then to have someone answer the question with a solution is such a relief and a lifesaver. I know people see the right answer listed (sometimes they don't).

Why do they post over and over. C'mon there is no reason for this, the answer is there already. Unless you have something to add or a clearer description, this is pointless.

I see this question so many times during the day. I don't even understand why these kids are on the computer. They really need to be monitored better. They should only be allowed to go to the 3 or 4 websites needed to do research. I have an 11 year old and when she gets a couple years older, If I ever hear of her being on myspace while at school then there is going to be trouble. This is something that should be done at home or after school hours.
