Wondering why I have no appetite for 6 days now.?
I am 44 female and do not take any medication. I was taking 1/2 a Benadryl to help me sleep but I stopped it. Could that be causing lack of appetite? When I do finally eat, I feel like throwing up. I used to eat 3 solid meals a day, now I can barely eat 1/2 a meal. Menopause? No idea.
1 AnswerWomen's Health5 years agohow do I determine the value of a whole life policy?
We found a whole life policy for a grandparent that was purchased in 1944. We called the company that it was from, and they said that the policy is still valid, and that the premiums were paid up. Because of complications on who the beneficiary is, they will not tell us any other information. How can I find out how this would be calculated?
3 AnswersInsurance7 years agoLegal/business question?
I have signed a bond at my work, where they are holding 5% of my salary in an account "in case". My understanding is that this money is for such things as theft or damage.
My company ended up with a small claims case, that I was partially involved in, and my company has made me sign approval to impound my bonuses and my bond until the court case is resolved or settled, and that I will be paying all legal fees, settlement, filing fees, etc etc etc. If I refused to sign, I would be fired immediately.
The timing on this is horrible and I cannot afford to be fired right now. So I signed the document.
Please don't answer that I should quit and that it is a bad company. I already know that.
I want to know: Is this legal? What rights do I have? Can I sue for this once its over? Can a company really do this in the US?
4 AnswersLaw & Legal8 years agoQuestion about bonds?
I signed a bond when I started with this company and they have been deducting money from my paycheck until 5% is set aside. My understanding was that it was for theft prevention or maybe damage or such.
Recently a situation has come to light where the company has deemed me liable for something and they are saying that I have to pay out whatever is involved in it. Basically, a person is suing the company supposedly for something I did incorrect (I did it the way I was trained, but that is neither here nor there). The company is saying that I am liable for all expenses related, including if the person settles, I will need to pay out the settlement money from my bond. They are also saying that if it goes into legal fees, I will be liable for those as well. (It is small claims court)
Is this right? Can a company do that?
3 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years agoAre bonds by payroll deduction legal?
Can a company require you to sign authorization to deduct from your paycheck money to put aside for any liability it deems? This company has managers sign a $4000'00 bond and money is deducted from payroll weekly.
If the manager errors (not only theft, but other mistakes causing waste), the company has the authority to take money from your bond to cover the loss, including legal fees incurred?
4 AnswersLaw & Ethics8 years agoI went to get alignment on my 92 BMW and they said the toe bolt in rear is missing. Is car safe to drive until?
They told me I could drive slow in the car... but they are so cryptic! Is it safe to drive. They showed me where the bolt is missing. From the back of the car, the bolt on the inside of rear tire is missing. I could see the bolt on left tire, none on the right!
Another mechanic told me it should be ok because there are 3 more bolts holding it. I did not see any other bolts.
Any advice?
Parts are ordered. Do I need to get a rental and not drive the car?

1 AnswerSt. Louis1 decade agoAny suggestions on controlling temper?
I am a manager and sometimes my associates will error and I do not control my temper at all. I get angry at them, then I will calm right down and regret it. The company I work for does not like this type of reaction and I need to get it under control.
Any suggestions as a quick remedy and then also as a long term remedy? Anyone ever had this and remedied it?
My sign is a Libra and everywhere I have checked, it says I am short tempered and people have to learn to live with it. I would like to get it under better control. I dont wanna live with it and I dont want anyone else to either. I dont like being like that.
Please any suggestions on things that have worked? (websites, books, thought, anything)
7 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agogross question about my foot?
I get these clear bumps that itch like crazy and then I open them and they keep filling up for like three days, then dry up. Always on the same foot and they never spread (to other body parts or other foot). What in the heck are they? They are on the outside bottom of my foot, or on outside of my toes (rarely in between, but sometimes).
