Similar functionality to a APC UPS, but smaller.

Don't need to power a computer, just a router for a short time when power flickers off.

Specifically, for a computer, not a phone. Basically, it should use output from the speakers and determine what song best matches it. I've used SoundHound for this on my phone, but I'm looking for a non-phone alternative.

I'm trying to come up with a name for a team of superheroes. I want it to be an acronym, but the last letter is a 'K'. Requesting ideas for organization/team words starting with a K.

"Kids" doesn't work, as they are all well into adulthood.

Power level of the heroes is... city-level? They are saving/protecting/watching a large city.

The "heroes" are more like anti-heroes, actually. They are all shady/secret/mysterious. The most well-known has a bad reputation with the local media.

Also, it is set in the early 1980s.

Found some classic PS1 games, am interested in playing them again, but of course do not have a PlayStation in 2011. What options do I have? (Preferably not "Get a PS3".)

They changed the locks at work so now I have a key that goes to nothing. Need a cool idea for what to do with it.

So I figured out my video card problem is probably actually a monitor problem. I just had never used its DVI connection with my old box.

the problem is that the monitor's voltages are misadjusted?

Who can fix this kind of thing?

(It is a Westinghouse 19" LCD I bought from Best Buy several months ago.)

I'm looking to start with a barebones system and add parts to it.

I don't need to hear about the research and compatibility issues, already know what I'm doing there.

I'm talking about the physical putting together of the computer.

I've installed RAM and a video card in the past and reformatted several computers. Those were pretty easy. Just never installed a CPU. How hard is this it?

Also, it there anything else I'm forgetting about?

My boss is sick and wants me to ask the interwebs what the cure for AIDS is.

I remember playing this game when I was younger at a friend's house. It was a platformer game. At the end of each level, you faced a boss in a rock-paper-scissors game. (I think they called it "paper, rock, scissors" in the game)

You could go into a building and bet a life for a powerup item, like an item that let you read your opponent's mind.

What game is this?
