I got two iPods for Christmas. What should I do?
This sounds like a snobby, spoiled situation, but I really need help. "Santa" got me an itouch with my initials engraved on it, then my boyfriend got me a pink ipod nano the same day. I knew my boyfriend was going to get me one, so I made sure not to ask Santa for one. Santa thought it would be a nice surprise though... Now I'm in a sticky situation because I should probably return the nano since it's not engraved. I don't know how to tell my boyfriend though! His mom helped pay for some of my gift, and I'd feel terrible telling them I need to return it after they told me not to ask for one from anyone else. Any suggestions? Help!!

1 AnswerWords & Wordplay1 decade agochick halloween costume?
At my high school, they let everyone dress up for Halloween. This year, some of my friends and I (one boy and six or seven girls) are going to be Colonel Sanders and his "chicks" (play on chicken/hot chicks). We already have his costume picked out (yes, he's a little fashion challenged), but we're not quite sure how to make our costumes. We were thinking of doing some sort of long-sleeved white leotards with yellow tights, but obviously we need to use feathers too. (We also need to cover our chests if you get me. White leotards. Yeah.) We would also like to do some kind of cute skirt.
Please keep in mind that we go to a Catholic school, so our costumes need to be pretty modest. We want to look cute, but not skanky.
Any suggestions would be helpful. Pictures, links, costume patterns, ideas, etc. Thanks so much!
1 AnswerHalloween1 decade agoPro-lifers: I need your help! What's the definition of life?
There's a girl in my History class that I have been having a mature and informed debate with. She's pro-choice, I'm pro-life. However, we're both open-minded and willing to have an intelligent and adult argument. I asked her the what the main reasons she is pro-choice are, and I came up with refutes to just about every single one. She stumped me on one of them though, and I told her that I would get back to her on it. She agrees with me that just minutes after conception, that "blob of tissue" does have a heartbeat and DNA. She also pointed out that plants have "fingerprints" and do technically pump "life-sustaining liquid" through their veins. Point taken. Well, this is where it got really messy: she told me that her definition of life includes being able to sustain life on oneself. If a fetus is living in its mother, then it is technically not supporting itself. I don't know how to respond to this. Does anyone have an informed response? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks so much!

So I've had a wii since Christmas now and I've played several tennis matches. I've won many of those. However, no matter how many I lose or win, I still have 0 points. Why is that? Is there something I can do to change it? Any advice would be helpful! Thanks!

Hi! I'm a 17 year old girl looking for a part-time job in Lexington, Kentucky. I'd be interested in anything from waitressing to retail to food. If anyone has any ideas or knows of any places that are hiring, I'd love to hear from you. Here are some helpful hints: I love children, I'm very personable and outgoing, I have a strong work ethic, and I'm responsible. If anyone is looking for a part time employee, please respond! Thank you so much!
1 AnswerOther - US Local Businesses1 decade agowhere to find blue rain ponchos and paint to write on them?
My high school's football team is going to the State championship this Saturday and it's supposed to rain. My friends and I want to do something cute but sensible and so we were thinking we'd all buy blue rain ponchos and paint "K-N-I-G-H-T-S-!" on them. (We'd each be a different letter.) If anyone knows of any stores that carry ponchos or paint that would stick to the plastic and not get washed off, it would be really helpful. Links to websites would help too. Wal-mart, Michael's and Target do not carry them. Thanks so much!
