I am pursuing Btech Mechanical Engg. Motilal Nehru NIT allahabad. In my 2nd atempt I am getting IIT roorkee Biotech. Should I go to the IIT?
It will be better if you give ideas without including the "interest" thing. Because interest can be developed after seeing good sides of a branch.
Also I have not given any other entrance exam, its just iit or mnnit.

The option it shows is to install ubuntu "inside" windows 7.
then clicking next it restarts the computer. then again it shows me two choices whether to try or install ubuntu... which was the first step.....
but i was able to install it in my desktop (win xp). there it showed me the option : to install ubuntu alongside windows.(not inside) and after clicking next it didnt restart, it just asked me to choose how much space i wanna divide between the two OS.
please help.
6 AnswersSoftware7 years agoProblem instlling ubuntu. I've installed ubuntu 12.04.3 iso file in usb using live usb creator...........?
Then I restarted my gateway laptop, pressed F2 ,then in bios setup I put first preference to my USB. then saved changes and exit.
Then the computer boots from usb and opens ubuntu where it asks "try ubuntu" or "install ubuntu".
When I click try ubuntu, everything is fine....
but when i click install, and then press continue.. then I choose "install ubuntu inside windows" becoz I want that, then it makes me sure I have this much space available in my comp and it is plugged to power source, then i click next then i click continue in next window saying that i do not want to conect to network. then my computer restarts again as if nothing happened. it opens ubuntu (due to first preference in bios setup) and again shows the two choices : try or install.
I have also tried opening the contents of llive usb and clicking wubi then clicking next then again it shows some error....
I have also tried to mount iso image using daemon tools and then running it. then wubi and the result is same again.
Please help me installing ubuntu inside windows...
