Is dollmore responsible for customs fees if a shipping is stopped by customs?
It occurred to me that customs has stopped a package sent from the UK to the USA belonging to me before, for no apparent reason, really, and charged me forty dollars for their time of taking it for no reason. It makes me wonder, if I make a dollmore order, and customs snatches it, is dollmore, or am I, responsible for the fee? Oh, and I'm going to add the terms BJD, dolfie, and MSD in right here, so if someone's searching to answer a question revolving around that topic, they find me, and have hopefully run in to this customs problem so can answer my question (well, not hopefully, it would suck pokeballz for them, but...yeah, good for me, sorry) (suck pokeballz is in no way an actually curse term, so, no reporting for that)
2 AnswersHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoHow much would you say shipping for a BJD would be from Denverdoll.com?
So, I'm not starting off with, I'm new to the BJD world, because i'm not, I'm simply new to buying dolls from Denverdoll.com. When you order from them, are you paying to ship from Korea ( Leeke's Korean isn't it?), to denverdoll, to you. Or just shipping from Korea to you, or shipping from Denverdoll. I understand shipping isn't usually cheap, especially if I choose my paranoid route and buy insurance. I also understand size would be a factor, so it's an MSD sized doll, Leeke Mabel, specifically, and looking at her measurements I think she's actually a tiny bit smaller than most MSD size dolls. I'm only looking for an estimate, by the way, I'm curious because, being responsible, a doll should be saved for, you shouldn't take money out of an account for it in case your cat gets ill, or something horribly wrong happens like it always does. Yes, I overuse the comma, the gorram comma.
2 AnswersToys1 decade agoIf God told you to kill a child, would you?
Someone just asked a question similar to this, and pointed out the time when Jehovah did tell Abraham to kill his son, Isaac. Now, yes, Jehovah did indeed stop him in the last minute, but think for a second, Abraham didn't know that he would stop him, Abraham was going to kill for his God. He was going to kill an innocent, because someone told him to. Now, if God asked you to do this, could you? Now, I understand 'God wouldn't ask me to,' but you don't know that, he had his reasons with Abraham, and he could have them again, he could try and test your faith, as well. Would you do the right thing? If you give me a 'God wouldn't ask me to,' you get a thumbs down, sorry, that isn't an answer, and you know that this is hypothetical, it's not a 'when,' it's an 'if.' I'm not saying he will, but if he can have the mysterious reason to give kids cancer, or to teach, or to whatever, then he can have reason to ask you to kill a child, as he has done before. So, take the plank out of your eye before you remove it from mine. Would you kill a child for God? Is it right or is it wrong? If you say it's right, then is it equally right for someone of another religion to kill because their God told them to?
