Is our government a democracy, or a republic?

Just a simple question.

For instance, people attempt to say that the decision to drop the nukes on hiroshima and nagasaki was a bad idea. They continue to say it was an act of terrorism and unnecessary slaughter by America. Do they even understand war, or the fact that millions would have died? I know this is more of rant, but people just annoy the hell out of me. You can't debate whether it was a good idea or not, it clearly saved more lives than it damaged, and the Japanese started it too!

Basically, my question is: Do people who lack historical or social knowledge annoy you? Especially since they are your fellow voters?

When people say, Ice cold water for sale! isn't that incorrect because wouldn't it just be ice? Am i the only one that thinks that?

Wil you join up? Or will you say back to help in the effort to catch them? Will you be indifferent? or will you be against retaliation?

Are you proud to be an American, pretty simple.

And they re-instated the draft, how many of you would fight for your country?

How many of you are teenagers or converted when you were teenagers?

The only intellectually honest position is agnosticism.

and you ground them...do they deserve it? or because you love them they shouldn't be taught a lesson and it should slide. Do you love your children any less because of this? By disobey i mean you told them they couldn't go out and they end up sneaking out.

Why or why not? And do you think the US will still be the dominant military power, and will they go to war?

or do you feel it violates the first ammendment? And tell me why. My reasoning is yes it should stay because it doesn't endorse any religion of any kind, because God is so general, but i'd like to hear your opinions.

the United States of America, or the People's Republic of China? In my honest opinion, i think the United States military is unmatched technologically, but that doesn't mean it is a sure win, just look at Nazi Germany. I think the U.S will win but by a slim margin, what are your guys' opinions?

P.S I know you may be tired of hearing this question, but i love to just think about the possibilities, it's intriguing.

Arrogance? or Ignorance?

I want people's opinions because i think Nintendo won, but I've heard some people say Sony won, so what's your opinion?

Nintedno had the 3DS, which was inredibly impressive, they had incredible 3rd party titles lined up for it, They had a new Zelda game for wii, along with kirby, goldeneye, metroid, donkey kong, etc. Sony's gonna half a tough time beating that

this is the first wake I've been to, thankfully i haven't had to go to any in the past. But, anyways, what is the proper attire for a wake? we weren't the best of friends, but friends nonetheless, is a shirt and tie acceptable?

are there any bible verses about hell not being eternal? i believe it's eternal, but I've recently been wishing it isn't because some people i care about are on their way towards hell...

what are your opinions on aliens?

when it is only the adherents of thosee religions that make them have a bad rep. For example, there are some radical muslims in the middle east, so people deduce their all bad. the kkk was christian, so therefore all christians are bad. It's jsut stuff like this that pisses me off. Now, im not saying im innocent because i used to be like the people saying muslims are bad etc.
