Well, I'm 16 and I will be doing Transition Year in school (4th year). For the year, we have to buy iPad 2's or 4's, for blogs and other (pointless) stuff. We then get to use it upto exam year, but half of our books aren't on iTunes.

So do you think iPads are any good in a professional sense or in this case? I don't understand why we can't just buy netbooks for half the price with more usability that are used in real jobs.

Or am I missing the USP of the iPad? Is there something beneath it's behemoth cost and awkward size? What can it actually do good?

Recently I heard about Feman.

Well, I have this really old laptop (Acer something something 2001) and it's incredibly slow.

My parents told me that I could get a computer (desktop or laptop) for christmass if I do well in exams (I am pretty confident seeing as I haven't gotten a B in ANY of my 10 tests each year, just A's).

But I don't know that much about computers (I know how to work them etc. but not what makes it great)

That's where I need your help everyone. I would like a good, fast, good memory, good for games, music, media. Preferably a laptop.

I don't want to break my parent's wallet so could the price range be kind of between €500-€700.

Lately, my windows on my front door were smashed with a rock saying Happy Halloween on it. I rang the police, they caught the bunch of teenagers who did it and they were fined.

I want to know is Halloween becoming more "Trick And Trick" than "Trick or Treat"? Is your neighbourhood mature and respectful enough to obey the law and just enjoy Halloween? Mine aren't. And a lot if others aren't either.

It's often a time when people go around setting cars on fire, using fireworks (it's illegal in Ireland if you don't have a permit), pelting houses with eggs, bricks, rocks or whatever they can find.

If you think Halloween is becoming treachourous then what do you think caused this. As it was never always like this.

I currently do Aikido with my father and I like how many throws are done as well as counter-attacks. But I would like to use my hands a bit more than to just throw. I have heard of Wing Chung (the one Ip Man practiced) and how it uses it's fists and it has a lot of counters. I would personally like to be able to block one attack and retaliate with something like 3-4 punches, preferably to areas that hinder fights(like ribs or lungs etc.).

I don't use martial arts to fight, but I do like knowing how to do different things and if it came to it, protect myself in a fight.

Why are they so... so... Backward? Why do they think all they do is for Allah? Why do they learn every word of the Qur'An? Why publically execute people for being different? Why think everything is an attack on Islam and Muhhamad? Why do they try and push their religion on us?

Heres what I cannot understand: They come here, practice their religion freely amd noone stops them. We go over there, practice our religion or not follow theirs and we get shot or stoned.

I read in the papers that 14 teenagers were stoned in Alshabab and Bhaddad becuase they "copied the emo look and insultee Islam" Dafuq?

Can someone answer these questions please?

Okay so the first question is: Lavender Town's weird music. Well it's weird, and if you put it into a sound breaker (the programme my laptop has which breaks down sounds into dots and lines in a sequence) you get strange distortions in the actual frequency. Now the ghost image at around 3:10 is odd. I think that Game Freak actually put it in there. But here's the strange bit: At around 6:10 or so, double the time from the first ghost image, there is none. Gone. All that's left was a strange noise not in tune with the song. But here is what my question is about: At around 8:15 or so onwards, you once again see the ghost and his strange noise. But what follows him are pics of unown spelling "Leave Now". After that the song begins to screech, distort itself and make hideous noises that follow the rythm of the song, but a large humming noise throws off the tune.

So here's my question: Why does this happen? It was in the first gen of Pokemon Green and Red from Japan. My friend gave it to me a while back. He got it the day it came out. I tested that cartridges sound on my computer and that's what I found. Others have found it too. So why does it do that? Is the song meant to distort to migraine giving pitches? There's a video on youtube of someone else doing it. Look up "Lavender town missing frequencies" and choose the first one. And no I'm not trolling or pranking you, you can download a copy of the song in his description (I ripped mine from the game cd) and try it yourselves. You can't really hear it without using the sound break up stuff, it's really hard to hear and sometimes hurts to pay attention. So if you know why the soung distorts itself please answer it below. One of the world's most contraverial topics today (especially here in Ireland) is abortions being allowed or becoming illegal. Now this topic is a very touchy topic, so trollers will be reported. Remember this is our opinions, not law. So respect eachother's and mine when giving your answer below.

Here is my opinion:

Abortion is killng. However, to me it seems that it's not plain out murder. They think the baby develops some degree of self thought, around month 6 or so. But if the baby doesn't know what pain is or the fact that it's going to die worsens the case. You can argue that the baby has no feelings upto some point or you can argue that it doesn't matter whether it has feelings or not. So what if you abort it at an early stage? If it has no self thought until it's nearly 'done growing, then could you technically say it's a bad killing? I mean, mercy killings are usually done out of love, like pulling the plug on someone you love or putting down your dog it has a rough time up ahead etc. Can this not be the same?

The next thing is circumstances. What if this child would be born into poverty, despair, or an enviroment where it won't be cared for? Then what? If it grows up, would it not likely turn out to be a troublemaker or just sit around all day taking social welfare? Is that fair? I mean, it was proved in Ireland that 68% of people on the Dóil (our social welfare) are better off on the Dóil than they are working! It would create an incentive for that child to not work at all. What about it then? Would it not be saving the world of that babie's misdeeds? But then you could argue that it would grow up to despise it's background and try to change it. But I have seen people from the traveller community, (for example, no offence intended) and they would like to learn, but the people around them won't let them or disown them if they do. What if this child is the same?

Another point is population control. I will continue in additional details.

Okay I play Warhammer (40k and Fantasy) and I ran out of Flesh Wash. Flesh wash was like a dark brownish ink but I ran out of it. I already tried Ogryn Flesh but that doesn't work. Does anyone know an exact or very close match to Flesh Wash? (It doesn't have to be GW, like it could be Army Painter or whatever. But not Vagello.)

Okay, I excersie alot but when it comes to running, I can only reach a low pace. Bottom line is that I am not fast. But I see people who can run really fast, and I would be burnt in the dust against them.

So guys, (and gals) how do I become faster? Here is what I have tried to do to get faster:

Running flat out(This doesn't bother me as I have a lot of stamina)

Cycling (A mix of in the gym and outside)

Jogging for as long as possible

I walk alot and I have a fast walking speed also.

Swimming (Only occasionally)

So am I doing something wrong? I have been training like this for about 6-7 months and I have recorded no improvement. I am 14 years old (going on 15) I do not over excercise, I usually spend 1 hour to an hour and a half in the gym. (Thats only if I have some adrenaline left)

So please help guys as I would really like to be able to run fast.

Ps: If it helps, I had cancer as a child. But that was 7 years ago. (Lucemia)

At 3pm GMT yesterday my profile was fine. My username was eoin and I had a green exclamation mark as my profile picture. However today, at 11am, my profile changed to ? and my picture was some grey smiley face. I signed out, signed back in, checked out the help section but nothing changed. I still have all my points, I can still ask and answer as normal, but why is this happening? Can I fix it even? Your help is much abliged.

It's been almost a year now with two victini events and a darkrai event for europe, but no events regarding Keldo, Meloetta or Genosect. Does anyone know when they will be released for Europe? Does anyone know if they even released a date?

(And an extra small question: When is black and white 2 coming out?)

Now, I am sporty (I like to play rugby, I am a full back) and I never warmed up before a game as I wasted my energy by just heating myself up! What is the point if you heat up as you play?! She makes do stretches, (that I understand) but then she makes us jog or run for 3 minutes then we have to play some form of tag (it's called Bulldog) and by the time all of those are over, we only get 40 minutes to actually play something, then she brings us back to get changed 10 minutes before next class! So we really only have 40 minutes of the actual sport out of our double class of 90 minutes!

So what is the point of warming up? To get blood pumping? The heat up?
