I read of a Iraq child whose parents were killed. She and her siblings will be turned over to an orphanage. The news article said that it is forbidden to adopt. Why?

I am going to move there, and want to know about areas to live in, restaurants, any good and bads of the area,etc. I'll be working in Livermore and will be making a decent amount of money. How far is too far for traffic?

There are lots of these trees all over the LA area right now. They tend to be tall, the blossums are over the entire tree, and are a mustard yellow, the leaves are a pale minty color, and the bark is rough with vertical ridges.

I can eat an apple when I don't feel hungry, and about 30 minutes after I have it, I am starving! I know I can't digest it that quickly.
