  • chacos versus tevas for walking?

I'll be moving to an African country in a few weeks for 18 months and I'll be doing upwards of 10 miles of walking nearly every day. I was wondering what everyone recommends on chacos versus tevas for the wear and tear of just sheer usage every day. It will be extremely hard for me to get another pair while I'm there so I'm hoping to find a pair that holds out. Suggestions? If you recommend another brand altogether, please feel free to mention that as well.

  • Dream about being in an engagement/marriage where I didn't love or even really like the person?

Last night I had a dream where I was in an engagement to a guy that I didn't even really like very much. However, I felt bad calling it off so close to the wedding that I didn't want to say anything. This isn't the first time I've had a dream like this, being in an engagement/marriage that I felt trapped in, either because I felt awful saying that I wasn't in love or wasn't happy or because no one would listen. Any interpretations of what this could mean?

  • Good quotes about being/feeling lost or wandering?

I'm looking for quotes about being lost in your life or wandering. Maybe some about finding your way. I really like the quote "not all those who wander are lost", but they don't all have to be optimistic like that.

  • Songs about moving away/going to college?

Hey I leave for college in about 2 and a half weeks and I'm trying to make a playlist of songs that cater to that, songs about going to college or moving away or growing up. I like all types of music except metal or screamo and I don't like much classic rock either. Suggestions would be great! Thanks

  • What should I be paid as a nanny?

I am beginning work as a nanny for my mother's boss and I am trying to figure what to ask for as a wage. I have no formal experience as a nanny, but I have been babysitting for over 5 years now and I have worked as a camp counselor. I would also be working a near 60 hour week for her - 8 to 7:30, 5 days a week. I would be looking after a one year-old and a three-year-old. I don't want to ask for too much but I'm really not sure what the average wage would be for my situation. Can anyone help?

  • sad slow sappy songs like Almost Lover?

I'm having sort of a tough time right now, and I'm looking for some sad slow songs like Almost Lover by A Fine Frenzy. If they have a theme about unrequited love or wanting someone you can't have, that'd be even better. Please have them be slow though.
