Well I am pretty old guy who just recently got me a Smart Phone. Let me explain the situation. About 10 months back my old flip prepaid generic phone finally after years of service went and wore out and wouldn't work anymore. It had a camera to take pictures and videos about 15 seconds long, but that was about all it could do it couldn't even store one full mp3 songs and could only handle a minutes worth of ringtones. This phone worked did everything I needed to do.

Well my Birthday came around the time the phone gave up on me and a friend said as a Birthday present he will buy me any Smart Phone on the market at the time he mentioned I could get it prepaid or if I wanted I could get a contract and he will also buy the phone and pay the first months Bill. I took a look at the prepaid and checked the contracts and different types of Smart Phones. I found a contract that cost just as much as it would as prepaid for unlimited talk,text and data.

Now I have the Galaxy 3 should I update it to Galaxy 4 or is there a better phone out there? or should I stick with the Galaxy 3. One thing the contract states I have to get the same type or better (rated by phones cost and specs) if I upgrade?

Just was bored and thought Morgan freeman and Megan fox in the new planned star wars would rock.

Well I been working long hours and have not had the time to keep up with anime released this year. If someone can find the time to list them and maybe recommend any with descriptions if you recommend it or at least why you recommend it. Will give best answer to the one that answers question fully and also recommended something that I found interesting.

I just got it for my birthday present and wondering what apps are a must have in your opinion. As I know there is a lot of apps out there I will let you know what I mainly use it for.

I mainly text, check email, watch streamed tv shows/movies, search YouTube, play games, and am trying to personalize my phone and make it unique. I also now and then come across cool and fun free apps for example I was watching t.v and saw this advertisement something called android jellybean and this women was using her phone to translate what she said into Spanish in order to call this dog and I thought cool let me see if I can find such an app and found one and it works prettg well translating.

Here is the thing. I have not used Excel in a long while and I am hoping somebody can help me.

I have need to input my work hours in military time since that is how it is written in the log book. Now as much as correctly it is 0000 I need it to be 2400 with no : in-between and hopefully set as a time format. If it is possible no complicated formulas hopefully something that I can format cell custom type it in and it 12:00 AM into 2400 not 0000 like it is doing now. Try to make it simple as possible if you can. If not I guess I be using it as plain numbers as last resort. Thanks

Let me set the tone I grew up in a time where there was no such thing as the world wide web, no smart phones in fact cell phones where the size of a brick. Now we have smart phones where not only can you store and watch anime on your phones you can get fansubs. I remember having to relying on Dubbed anime and the few VHS copies from Japan friends received with a brief notes on what it said for my anime fix.

Now the internet is a great thing where people take their time to translate anime most that will never be dubbed and you can view online of download it to enjoy. The problem is a lot of anime fans in post here and elsewhere seem to be looking for recommendations of anime to watch, but then say well paraphrasing them in general Not any old anime there artwork sucks or come up with replies like the artwork sucks on that anime and when you take the release date on the anime it is from the 90's the anime itself is a good anime, storyline is good but because the anime was made mainly by cel and not by computers the quality is not what they come to expect from watching newer anime.

I mean denying older anime just because of the artwork was the best at the time and due to technology better artwork is possible seems kind of being spoiled to me, but maybe that is me having to actually work to find anime to watch when I was younger. What do you think are Anime fans spoiled by technology making it easier to view anime and also providing better anime artwork and even clearer quality anime like 1080p quality? Do you judge an anime by storyline/plot or by the artwork if both how much does artwork and how much storyline play in your choice? In a sense do you give older anime a chance or do you stick mainly to new releases?

I could of course find this out myself and work on it, but due to my work scheduled (this economy sucks) I work long and late hours so I sleep ,eat, shower and get one hour or two to be online to search for this information and I though you yahoo users could help me out by saving me time and provide your skilled knowledge since technology is changing way to fast right now for me to keep up with the latest tech.

Here goes the question I need answered if possible.

This individual is paying for the internet (fastest available connection by provider) and has it hooked up to wireless the household has 5 laptops ( yes old ones around 2 years) [Hey they cost to damn much as we do not live on the mainland for example new laptops run around $1300-$1600 here]

Sorry for the rant. Well onward the thing is due to peak hours and the fact that five computers are pulling on the same connection it slows the person that is paying for it connection when they get on facebook and even play mafia wars and other facebook games it freezes or other games like World of Warcraft ( the person is also using an older laptop ) I helped out by connecting it using the Cat 5 cable to the wireless modem and that laptop and said since you are on the internet and playing games and facebooking you need a newer computer and since it is only at home you do this it is better to get a desktop instead of a laptop and just use the laptop you have if you go somewhere.

I hope you understood that well I decided I wanted to buy the desktop as a gift maybe for Christmas or their Birthday depending when I can save enough money. Now with this information I provided do you have any possible computer stats at a minimum or the best type of computer that would work good for facebooks online games and other online games where multiple computers are using the same connection. If you have any other ideas that may help feel free to provide them. Thanks for your help.

The thing is I just wondering on your thoughts on this matter. A while ago Anime was exclusively produced in Japan and we in the Western World could refer to Anime to mean Japanese Animation and be correct even if in Japan it means any Cartoon. Now we have a problem at least one I see happening that tends to confuse or even anger some fans when a Cartoon is referred to as an Anime but clearly in its credits or some other way is not from Japan meaning to us westerners it is not an Anime, but what part of the production must be Japanese for it to be considered an Anime. Recently there have been a lot of U.S. companies that hired Japanese companies to produce animation providing the finance and even the script for the Animation but it is produced in Japan by a Japanese company. Does this make it an Anime? Then there the fact that a lot of Japanese Studios subcontract a lot of the work in Animation to Korean studios to save in cost. Does this mean it is not an Anime since a lot of its work was done in Korea and if that same Korean Studio then decides to create an Original Animation and due to all its experience in working on such projects its style and content are very similar and indistinguishable from something made in Japan? And what if a group of Japanese Animators move to the United States and create a studio that then produces and Animation does that make it an Anime even if it was not produced in Japan. Or a Similar situation a group of Americans moved to Japan and have had years and years of experience making Japanese Animation then decide to open a studio and create their own Animation it is not made by any Japanese but is made in Japan does that make it a Anime it is made in Japan after all? Or if a group of Japanese-Americans in the United States have never been to Japan form a studio and create an Animation does that make it an Anime they are Japanese even if they had no experience of Japanese Culture?

So it is the content, style, people, or place of origin that makes it an Anime what are your thoughts.

Well it been bugging me for a while and I can not remember which anime I saw it in, so any help is appreciated. It is not much to go on, but I am looking for the Anime where one of the characters that wears glasses always seems to slip down a lot and he pushes them back into place using his middle finger so in a sense flicking people off while adjusting his glasses. I am not sure about much else. Hope somebody can figure it out from that.

Well I do not know about you, but I was reading the Newspaper and came across this article on the next Iron Man. Iron Man 3 will have Disney working in concert with Chinese Film Industry basically it seems a lot of Western Countries are partnering with Eastern Countries to expand into newer markets as ticket sales decline in western countries. The thing is it mentioned that to appeal to the Chinese viewers the new Iron Man movie will incorporate Chinese Film techniques and styles by this I mean some of there types of doing special effects or something along that line. I do not watch many Chinese Films except Martial Arts ones and they do have some very good newer ones so I have nothing against them doing that I just think it is different and wondering how you think this will affect Iron Man. Do you think it be sort of like the Iron Man Animation co-produced by a Japanese Animation Company.

Just was wondering since a lot of people ask for recommendations of anime to watch I thought is there any anime that people would not recommend.

Well right now I was just watching an infomercial on Trivita Nopalea and was wondering if it worked. THe thing is I have constant back pains been to Doctors and specialists for backs which cost a lot of money and also seen a chiropractor a lot which works for about a week then my back starts hurting pretty badly that it is hard to get out of bed and that sucks. From what all this doctors even the chiropractor tells me there multiple reasons for my back pain that is low constant pain unless strained and sometimes very painful. The regular doctor says stuff like worn out disc and the chiropractor seems to agree this is the most likely cause and the fact is that that is throwing off my back alignment and the Doctor said surgery may be needed. Problem can not afford it and pretty scared had knee surgery once and I think the anesthesia specialist was worried or at lest it seemed that way since it took a while for me to wake up. That just is scary and the fact that a few relatives went into nearest hospital that can due back surgery and did not live also my dad had to have a similar back surgery and from what I could tell it made it harder for him to walk and stand unaided and even walk long distances. Making me not want to try that route if possible. The specialist even a neurologist ( who said he did not see anything wrong I guess with my nervous system ) the other specialist said it may be muscles tightening on my spine and contradicted what the regular doctor said when he viewed the X-rays and said he does not see anything wrong with the disc and it may be inflammation of the muscles and the tightening of them on the spine. I gotten from all these Doctors mixed opinions and all the gave me is strong pain pills and when those stopped working stronger ones, also muscle relaxants, anti inflammatory pills ,anti-biotic pills.

Well I was watching the show and it said things like it helps with inflammation and one or more people where talking about different types pain and one was I certain back pain and now he was able to get up with out it only after like 3 weeks and 3 days or something like that. I know they could be paid actors or paid normal people and there was a notice that results vary and something that mentions that not sure but I think it a notice that it is not a cure and you should see a Doctor I think that just so that people do not think that they can jut take that and not see a doctor first. Well I was wondering if any yahoo users have tried this for their pain and if it worked I mean it seems like it is a no risk as it said first time users it is free for a 32 oz bottle just pay the $9.95 S&H and they send it to you plus some information along. They said it is all natural no additives and stuff and it is a cactus fruit and fruits are healthy so even if it does not work it should cause me no problems right. If you or anyone you know has any information by usage of Trivita Nopalea drink not just something you read on the internet unless it is a good source not just wiki something like a medical journal, real medical website, News source like CNN or FOX that did a report something of a legit source that can give reliable information if it is a good thing or bad and if I should try it for my back pain since one of the medications they tried and the back specialist who should know much more than a chiropractor and my regular doctor at the clinic I go to said it is possible that the muscles are inflamed and tightening on my spine causing the pain. It is a simple question asked out of boredom. What anime do you thing deserves a remake sort of how the remade Thundercats. You can also answer about anime that you think did a bad job following the manga or for whatever reason and could use a remake of it even if it so that it could finish up if the anime ended and the manga was ongoing.
