My main interest on Yahoo! Answers is in religion and spirituality. I no longer identify w/ an organized religion but I grew up in a mainstream Christian home and sang in the choir until I couldn't tolerate the sermons from a particular minister any more. I taught myself to meditate in the mid eighties and have studied metaphysics since the nineties. I am a student of the Alice Bailey books. My belief system is based on hermeticism (like esoteric Christianity) but I still honor the Christ and follow His teachings. I also work w/ sacred fire circles. My favorite model is the alchemical fire circle at Fire Tribe Hawaii.
