I can give you a serious answer, but only if it requires it. I can mock you, but only if you're religous or an idiot.

  • Trying to create custom armour for Skyrim. Not going well. Help?

I'm following every step, word by word on the following tutorial:

    http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_arm...

But what I end up with from this, just wont import in to Skyrim's Creation Kit.

I've made a very, VERY basic mesh, using just a few polygons, as to not waste too much time in the event it didn't work, which it didn't.

Is there a better more comprehensive tutorial out there, or even better, a video tutorial that uses Blender?

There's plenty on Youtube that use 3DMax and other programs, but I've yet to see one that covers this specific topic using Blender.

If anybody can help, or have experience using it themselves, I'd be hugely grateful.

  • My armour rating on Skyrim is just too high?

I have mods installed. I have changed mods and such, and nothing changes.

Let's put it this way, with the mods I have activated, Ebony Gauntlets should be around 98 AR when crafted.

At the moment, I have a set which is over 200.

On a previous save with the same mods activated, the AR on the gauntlets is the correct amount.

Is there anything I may have somehow done that's raised all the base stats for all the armours? It sounds absurd, and I feel rather stupid for having to ask, but I've looked all over for a solution to no avail.

I have a sneaking suspicion I've done something to my save, and it's really bugging me.

  • Will a AsRock G31M-S R2.0 house a GTX660?

I'm after a nVidia GTX660 next month, and I've read that the card needs enough room for 2 cards, or something like that. Does this mean it needs two slots, or is it just fat and greedy?

If anyone happens to have the G31 and this card, could you tell me if it fits please?

I have no other cards plugged into the slots.

    Thanks.

  • Any non-inear Xperia Ray headphones?

I hate, hate, hate inear headphones. I was wondering if there are any good headphones compatible with the SE Xperia Ray that aren't inear?

I bought an older version of SE headphones with the connector, but the actual headphones with the jack on them were far too short.

I know the phone (among others in the Xperia range) use different jacks than other traditional phones.

I read it once but can't find the article again. If there aren't any non-inear headphones, then is there an extension cable you can get for it?

  • Installed new Core 2 Duo, and nothing. Why?

I just installed a Core 2 Duo E7500 into my computer from a Celeron D 3.33Ghz. I checked to see if my motherboard is compatible, and it is.

It went in fine and fits all good. I reassembled my computer so I can't even tell the difference (except for the addition of the change in heatsink). I turn my computer on, all the fans spin etc, but the monitor gets no signal. Using neither my dedicated nor the integrated slot works.

Has anybody had this problem, or now how to fix it? Everything worked fine before.

  • Can the MSI n1996 hold a Core 2 Duo 2.93ghz?

I'm wanting to upgrade my Celeron D and I don't really have much money, so rather than buying a new higher pin board, for an i7 or whatever, I thought I'd just update my processor to a modernish lower budget one: Core 2 Duo L7500.

Can this chip fit my motherboard?

If not, is there a really cheap budget one that can hold 3gb ddr2 ram?

  • Best possible upgrade from a Celeron D?

I have a Celeron D 3.33Ghz processor, which would have been rad in it's days, but as we know is far outclassed by new chip sets.

At this precise moment in time I lack the money to buy a new motherboard to accomodate for an i7.

My dedicated graphics card is more than good enough for modern games, it's just my Celeron D letting me down.

What's the best possible prosessor series that will fit the same pin number as a Celeron D?

  • Best place to search for Educational Sector jobs?

I'll soon be taking a level 3 course which will stand as the basis for my desired career. The only problem is, that afterwards I heard you need a placement to be able to do the level 4. So I was wondering if there was a specific place that Schools and Colleges use to advertise their vacancies?

    Much appreciated.

  • If God blew over the Tower of Babel to stop people getting to heaven, then why did He not stop the rocket?

We all know that story. People tried to get in to heaven through the tower, so God destroyed it and also gave us different languages so we couldn't communicate (though there's absolutely no historical record of people just having a different language. Something that big would have been recorded). Why did he not do the same during the construction of the rocket?

Even though we now know that heaven isn't in the clouds, like they used to believe (showing how primitive religion is), and that we can't find heaven, since it's more than likely (and by this I mean 100%) doesn't exist.

  • Did anybody else do really bad on the G484 (Newtonian World)(OCR) Physics exam?

I got an E (though I got a strong B in my Maths).

I felt as though that paper wasn't quite the same as the others (like the ones last year too). I personally feel as though the exams are being made far too different from past papers and the actual material we're being taught. Anyone else feel this way?

Hopefully the re-sit will be better.

  • (Stupid question) Is the OS stored on the Motherboard or the Hard drive?

I know this sounds nooby but I just want to make sure. I may need to get a new Motherboard soon and don't want to lose my Windows 7.

Also, how is it exactly, that you replace a motherboard? I've replaced everything else in my computer at one time or another, just not the motherboard (or processor). Anybody got any links to some decent tutorials?

Any warnings or suggestions, just in case it comes to it?

Also, can anybody suggest a motherboard for £100 or less (due to budgeting) that would run the Intel Core i5 650 board? That or a bundle pack for less than about £220. Just in case.

  • Would a Intel Core i5 650 run on a motherboard where a Intel Celeron D 365 runs on?

    I know it's a little vague, but would a motherboard that currently runs a Celeron D 365 http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=27131 be capable of running a Core i5 650 http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=43546&code=In... processor?

Like I said, I know it's really vague, but a general 'educated guess' is more than welcome. I'd like to upgrade the processor and then upgrade the graphics card. Any help is much appreciated.

  • Does the processor of a computer change what strength graphics card you can get?

I have a 3.33Ghz computer that only has a basic built in graphics card that spits out a poor rating of 3.1 on the system ratings for gaming graphics and a pathetic score of 1 for system graphics (or somethign like that).

I'm not overly sure on what the processor make is (though I presume it will be an Intel of some sort considering it's on the loading screen when I turn the computer on), so I can't say for sure just how powerful the 3.33Ghz processor is (as I'm aware an i7 2.6Ghz will be much stronger than an i5 3Ghz).

My computer has a nice 3GB ram (DDR3 I think) installed in it and runs on Windows 7.

I would absolutely love to install the NVIDIA GeForce GT 220 graphics card, since playing games on it is quite impossible due to laggyness and the such due to the poor graphics card. I know it's no where near the best graphics card, but the 1GB will be fine for my computer, that and it's not too expensive.

Any ideas on whether or not my computer would be able to run it? I'd hate to get it and find out it can't actually be run. :|

  • I preorderd LittleBigPlanet 2 of Amazon and am meant to get a Ratchet and Clank costume, yet I can't find them?

I'm pretty sure I read on more than one source that I'm supposed to get a Ratchet and Clank costume when I pre ordered it from Amazon.

I can't find them anywhere. Not even in the 'extra' section of the disc. It's bugging me. Anybody got any ideas?

  • Access: Append form data to a table?

I have a form in Access called 'Owners' as it's a vet database (for coursework). Just to make things generally easier for myself I like to add in little things here and there with gives me a step-up on my work, thus I'm creating a 'New pet' button so I don't have to do it manually.

When this 'New pet' button is pressed, it opens another form which asks me to input the pets information. I put this in as you'd expect and press the add button (as I don't want it to do it automatically as I might change my mind and yay... I'd have to go back and delete it manually) and then it runs an append query. This query is currently only has two parameters: The Owner ID and the Pets name. It inserts the Owner's ID (which is a foreign key in the pet table) from the Owner table and the Pet name from the New pet table quit fine. The only problem is that no matter how I tweak it, it does one of two things: The first is append the record for every existing record (so somebody named Adam will have about 11 dogs named Jeff, then when Paul walks in with his fish Jerry, he'll apparently have 22 of them etc.) or append a record for every animal that person already owns. Both of which are undesirable.

Does anybody know any reason as to why this is happening?

  • What was the experiment that determined the form of an Atom?

What was it called, and who performed it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't want the details as I'd like to research it myself, but I'm having problems finding out who performed the experiment and what it was called. I know it had something to do with firing Alpha particles through the atom and due to it's charge, reflecting on to a sheet of something I can't remember the name of which would light up, and the scientist sat for hours watching it, but other than that, I'm stumped.

  • Is it illegal to pay your child for doing a regular job by cash-in-hand?

I know it sounds a bit weird but hear me out.

I'm doing ICT A level and we're on the topic of the Heath and Safety at Work Act 1974 and obviously there's something in there to do with making sure employee's have the appropriate insurance etc.

The insurance is to make sure they are covered, should an accident happen, then there's tax involved when paying employee's too. I was wondering (since in the eyes of the law it doesn't matter whether you're family or not) that if you had a son, and say you gave him some pocket money for doing some daily jobs, it would technically count as a job. Could you get fined for paying him cash-in-hand instead of doing it formally?

I know there's probably something to do with the number of hours, but let's say we ignore that. Could you?

(There's no real purpose behind the question, I'm just curious)

  • On Final Fantasy 7, how do I know how many enemies a character has killed?

Since it would be helpful to know for Level 3 Breakers, I was just wondering if there's any way you can actually find out (that and for Vincents Ultimate Weapon).
