How do employers know that you graduated from the school you list on your resume? how can they check your degree is in?

I have a black berry curve and an icon came up on my screen that i do not know what it is for. it is in the top left hand corner of the main screen. it is a number 1 with a circle next to it. the circle has an arrow going through it pointing down/left.

anyone know what this icon is for?

im trying to send an email directly from internet explorer. by clicking on file--send page by email. Rather then the email sending the webpage as a attachment, is there anyway the webpage can be sent in the body of the email...as the actual content of the email with working links?? let me know if you have any suggestions...or if this can even be done

I would like to training and participate in the boston marathon. I have never run a marathon before. I went to the website, and it said you had to have a qualifying time from a previous marathon in order to register. Does this only pertain to people who are seriously competing or does it pertain to everyone? I would assume that people can just register?

ok...when you send a text and it is finished sending, a check mark comes up beside it. Well sometimes i get the letter "D" along with the check mark. Does that mean it didnt go through?
