Our mare died today and her 3 month old colt was still nursing. Another mare a daughter of the first lost her colt due to contracted tendons. We are trying to put the colt on the daughter mare but she doesnt like to have him nurse unless her bag is VERY full... What could i do to help her accept him?

I am looking at dog breeds and i like the look of the border collie and i am wondering what breeds look like they do...

My betta was fine yesterday but about 1 this morning i noticed he was laying on his side and not moving. but when i tapped the glass near him he'd go to the top. but he seemed to get worse about 3 and a little before 4 he died... he had like yellow coming from around his gill flaps... any idea? and will it affect the other fish?

mare foaled: foal has normal front end but her legs are odd... her legs are swollen/bent just below the hocks and her fetlocks touch the ground... is it a common thing? or do i need to call my vet?

i would like to know how to get my horse to extend her trot... she seems to like collecting it... also when training a three year old (different horse) with a saddle how do you start? i mean we've been working with him but he does not like the western saddle... should i start him in my english when i get it? to see if maybe he likes it better?

okay molly had unknown number of babies. i was away and my dad is feeding fish. i saw approx. 8-10 babies. they are a little less than a centimeter long. anyone know approx. how old they are?

ok he's staying about 1 1/2 to 2 inches off the bottom. he comes up to eat... and he's been doing it for a few days now? i'm not sure whats wrong.... help please...

oh... he's (male molly) in with another male molly and female molly a male betta (they get along quite well) and a golden chinese algae eater...

ok i asked before but was not back on to add some details i apologize.

ok the mare is approx. 13 yrs old. she is 1/2 egyptian arab and 1/2 pony of the americas. the stallion is 8 and is 1/4 quarter horse 1/4 shetland 1/2 poa - different sires! the mare has never had twins before and she lost her 2007 foal. she was probably a 6 or 7 on the condition scale the vet use... im not great on determining that but from what i can tell she was... she hasn't been this big in all the years we've bred her. she lives in pasture and was bred in the pasture. we have a trailer but my aunt does not think she would be having twins because she never has before. she has only been bred to this stallion once before. the previous foal was normal and during the pregnancy mare was normal as well. i am trying to talk my aunt into taking her but she is more stubborn than a mule. <- i have never worked with mules so you mule people please don't take offense... well i am set on taking her there but my aunt is paying for it so...

well as soon as i can get her checked by a vet i will but in the mean time...

*if she is carrying twins... is there any chance they could be connected?

*what is the chance if she does not get to the vet it would kill her?

*she is at least 5 months along almost 6 i think... i don't have my calandarcalendar i will add details later....

i'm worried my aunt may not let me tale her to the vet... i am curious on the chances of losing her if we can't get her to the vet... she's one of my favorite so i want to know if i could possible lose her...

ok i just got 5 aquatic plant bulbs from wal-mart and they now have grey/white fuzz on them and i'm worried it'll make my fish sick... is the fuzz a natural part of the grown process? or is something wrong? should i remove them from my tank or what... please help i don't want to lose my fish...
