I know absolutely nothing about this type of asset. It apparently has earned about $1,000 interest beyond it's face value.

Is this taxed as income at this point or would I have to cash it first. Can I convert part of it to cash & convert the remaining portion into some sort of tax shelter?

Any information on this subject would be appreciated.

I've got a Wolfgang Puck enamel coated dutch-oven. I cured it according to directions before using. The inside of the pot is off-white and any oil residue above the food-line leaves stains when it gets hot.

Does anyone have any suggestions for removing these stains?

I want to prep my sweet potatoes tonight. I will cut them into large chunks, coat them in e.v. olive oil, fresh rosemary, & Kosher salt & roast them tomorrow. If I just cut them tonight, will they turn brown? I've never prepped them this far ahead.

Since I've begun excerising regularly (almost 1 yr now), I've become prone to nighttime leg cramps. I've learned prevention techniques (potassium, magnesium, calcium, etc.), but when I don't pay attention, the cramps do come back.

Yesterday, I was awakened by a severe cramp in my right calf. My leg was sore for most of the day yesterday, but I didn't really give it much thought. When I first stepped out of bed this a.m., I almost fell from the pain. Not another cramp, just very sore. I've been up for 4.5 hours now & when I get up from sitting, the pain is significant.

Has anyone else had this effect from cramps? Could it be a pulled muscle or maybe a lactic acid reaction?

This weekend, my truck overheated for the first time. It is a two wheel drive 3/4 ton. After pulling over & checking the fluid level (it was fine), we let it cool down & drove it home (not far). The next day, I started it cold & was able to get about 1 1/2 mile before it hit red on the gauge. Cool it down, start over, & it heats up almost immediately.

We replaced the thermostat & it's still doing it. Any ideas of the cause?

At the bottom of my screen, where there are bars for whatever program you have open, my Yahoo!mail bar indicates that I have 2 unread messages (it started with one) in my inbox. However, I have completely gone through my inbox & I have no unread messages there. My Inbox folder also says I have no unread messages. Why is this happening & how do I correct it?

My system is running this version. When I open the program, the blank spreadsheet has numbers naming both the rows & the columns. Nobody I've asked has seen this before or knows how to fix it. How can I change my column names to letters instead of numbers?

We have a 2 1/2 year old rat terrier. About 1 yr ago, she had what I then described as a seizure because I wasn't sure how else to describe it. She didn't stiffen, but she "flopped". It lasted for about 30 secs., by the time I got to the vet, she was fine. They suggested blood tests but also said it would be very expensive. So we haven't done that. Since then, it's happened about 4 more times. Then I saw a news article that described canine narcolepsy & the symptoms were very similar. Anybody have any info on this topic?
